Hey! Yes that would be correct!
I'm retrocircles everywhere! Keeps it simple for me... haha! Debt @ LBM 29/12/08 - £49044! Ok first day at the new job. It's money coming in... that's all I need to remember! I don't think it will be long-term, but it's fine for the moment.
The only real negative is how far away it is, and my petrol consumption is going to double I think!
Bought a paper & some squash today, so a very low spend day.
Got on the scales, another 2lb lost!
Checked the finances & all is going to plan.
Phoned Virgin Media & haggled the top tv package (much needed since we never go out anymore!) & free weekend calls for only £2 more a month. They offered what we have at the moment for £10 a month less, but we would quite like the channels we don't get! So excellent outcome.

Good luck with the new job tomorrow;)

I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
A week since my last post, but good and bad points.
+ Had 21 auctions ending on Ebay tonight & they totalled around £370! I will update my signature as payments come through.
Already have £250...
- I'm unemployed again. Long story, but jobhunting again.
+ BUT already have enough money for bills/food/petrol in February & March thanks to Ebaying.
- Over spending in January means the last 2 weeks were harsh. Had to borrow £20 from Bank of Mum!
+ Payday for DH on Thursday! Finally!
- Spent on CC this weekend (£30 for a meal). Though I really needed cheering up. Will hopefully pay this off next week after more auctions end.
+ Have some cash to start matched betting! :TDebt @ LBM 29/12/08 - £49044! Leaving £628 for food, petrol, emergencies, cat food etc & PAYING OFF DEBT!
Hi Retrocircles,
Why is your TV licence £36? Monthly DD is usually around £12.
Also how much of the £628 is spent on food? With careful planning and batch cooking this could be as low as £100pm.
You'll get loads and loads of ideas in Old Style board. Look for threads started by weezl74, her & husband have managed to live off 50p each per day!!!!LBM May 2007 -£20584!!! (£18k is ex-husbands-nice guy, eh? )

TV licence only comes out every 3 months.
We do spend about £100 on food. Well, when we're good!

I haven't calculated yet. I'm waiting until DH payday to see where we are after doing the finances. I'm hoping its LOTS less.
