Citalopram???

Hi Im sorry Im not sure where to post?? I just wondered if anyone had had the side effect of weight gain and if so was it because they were hungrier and ate more or is it because it slows down your metabolism? Thanks in advance

My Husband is on Citalopram and has put on weight (he really needed too) he just eats all the time as he say's he is hungry.
Im not sure about the metabolism part of it? Sorry I cant help anymore - I only know that my hubby eats like a horse on those tablets.
