  • For what it's worth i agree with Andrea on this one - although i do love "Dosh and Disability" too :)

Think not having Moneysaving at the start is a good idea - it's kind of implied by the site anyways!

to add my bit I love "Dosh and Disability" it is concise and adds an air of humour to what in some cases can be difficult times. I would vote for this as a title.

    So is it

    Disabled MoneySavers
    or
    Moneysavers with Disabilities...

What should it be called - any suggestions..
I think Dosh n Disability, so as to not appear prejudice, bear in mind also that people with disabled family may want to view it too. Your too on the ball Martin ;) like it

I think it should be on the main Forum site, as a main feature, sub threads could be added for vision or hearing impairments, as well as wheelchair or physical inabilities.

I still like 'Dosh and disability' it is lighthearted and would encourage a community spirit, I think, a bit like the Old Style board.

But I get what you are saying about the heading.... people, especially newbies may look first for 'disabled' or 'disability'

    What about 'Disability Deals'

I thought about turning the first one around, but 'Disability Dosh' doesn't work IMO as it sounds like a board for benefit scroungers :o

    i like dosh and disability

it's light hearted and maybe that will discourage trolls and the "life is so unfair, you get DLA for being disabled, it's not right" or "if you can surf on here you can work" kind of threads.

Will there be a moderator to stop that (above) from happening?
If my typing is pants or I seem partcuarly blunt, please excuse me, it physically hurts to type. :wall: If I seem a bit random and don't make a lot of sense, it may have something to do with the voice recognition software that I'm using!

Since the board is going to be specially set up to raise awareness of deals and concessions available for the disabled, I think posters who come on simply to criticise disabled people for wanting to know more about what is available out there, would count as abuse ... or at the very least, off topic.
