  • Huge thanks. My DH just managed to get the last one in store. Christmas is getting better and better already!!!:j
A little thanks now and again would be nice.;)
  • Just seen on Amazon that they are offering Fifa 09 for free when purchased with a console. This has just beem released and you cannot get it for less than £29, so tihs effectively reduces the console to £150. Just a thought for those who may not be able to grab one at Sainsbury's!!

Well I got a wii last week from WHSMITH. They sell a wii with Tiger Woods pga 2009, wii sports and beach sports for £179.99
considering Tiger woods is £39.99 and Beach Sports is £19.99 I think their deal is better value for money than the sainsburys deal. (The WHSmith deal only appears to be instore NOT online) and if you can't find it instore get them to check up on it for you... ie scan the tiger woods, beach sport and wii console because some whsmiths aren't advertising the deal but they are all doing the deal!
    :-)

Just bought Tiger 09 for £22.97 from Amazon!!

Thanks OP, just got one of each from my local, Horsham.

I asked the SA on the Customer Service desk, and she sheepishly said no they didn't have any. I asked if they would be getting anymore in and she looked away and said no! Knew she was fibbing, so hung around and asked a guy, who came back 2 mins later with them:T

Couldn't believe the cheek of the lady, she looked like a lovely OAP, but she was probably trying to keep them all and flog em on EBay:rotfl:

Best of all i had 2 , £6 off a £60 shop voucher, so saved even more money:j

Guy said the had loads of each left, that was at 6pm tonight :p
  • Got a Wii in my local Sainsbury's and love it! The display was very non descript, I had trouble finding them and when I did and the lady went off to get it for me, two people asked on the way to the till where they were located!

    - thanks for the tip off.

    Thanks OP.

I got 1 from the Redditch store at 7pm having read this thread.:j They still had some in stock.

I rang them first and they set it aside. I also purchased a copy of Rock Heros 3 and am gutted to have read the thread where amazon are selling considerably less:confused:

Wondering whether to order 1 and then return it to Sainsburys as we opened and used the Sainsbo's set last night.

We had hours of fun with the bowling game, fist evening my old man has been off the sofa in years, so I am going to locate the exercise pack too.

Thanks Again guy's for the heads up.
  • Thanks op. I've got one and have put it away for Xmas.

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
The more people have wiis, the more money they can make from games and accessories as happened with DVDs. I fancy one for myself, and this deal just came a bit too early for my savings!
Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!
