does anyone who bought the wii in sainsburys know whether there is a serial number sticker on the side of the box which matches the one on the console itself? because mine doesnt!!

Knowing Sainsburys, probably means you've either been given one of the ones off display and its been put in the wrong box....or...worst case scenario....you've been give one thats been returned to the store as faulty....and theyve just swopped boxes over that way all the pieces (controller leads etc) stay wrapped in their plastic bags....I would check it out asap....just in case...

Rang all our local stores and all said they dont stock consoles and only the larger stores do. Dont shop there but didnt realise there was a difference in sainsburys stores other than the small ones listed as local.

Never mind, good buy for those that got them.

I cant get one locally to me and I tried to get a price match in Comet & PC World and they wouldn't do it as Sainsbury didn't have any in stock.

yes of course, its the same with stores like wh smiths or other shops, some will be larger than others,
  • The Wii always comes with wii sports. The Wii is £159.99 at www.shopto.net and also the games are really cheap as well. I get all my games from them.

Phew just found one my friend is going to pick it up for me tonight as they are kindly holding it for me :-)

Phoned Cusomer Services and gave them postcode and she checked local stores then rang them for me and reserved it. Have spoken to the store (she put me through to them) and its safely at Customer Services!!

The local stores to me were saying that weren't going to get any more in stock during this offer :-(
