bleurggggggggggggh, Jinky, I'm eating my lunch and was skim reading and saw the photo!!

Hope everyone is feeling good and positive, there seems to be lots of people with tests and hospital type stuff for themselves or loved ones as well as lots of relationship stuff going on, so hope everyone is ok.

I've had the growing realisation this morning about how much I've committed to plan and deliver next week teaching wise on top of the office job and the planning during the week for future sessions _pale_

It's going to be hell next week and if I end up at all the right places at all the right times, have all the right paperwork and ingredients (or not for the non-cookery course!), it will be a real miracle. All 3 sessions I've said I'll do are now officially running _pale_ This is how next week pans out - I might have to refer back at some point when I suddenly think. what the hell should I be doing??

    Monday

AM - teaching media course until 1

PM - supermarket. Buy ingredients for Tuesday class and buy ingredients to try recipes out for Thursday class.

Evening - cook recipes for Thursday class to check for timings

    Tuesday

    AM - office

PM - Type up ingredients list and methods for the Thursday class

Evening - teaching cookery for one until 9

    Wednesday

    AM - Office

PM - Type up lesson plan/session notes for cooking for one and buy ingredients and cook week 5 recipe to test for timings. Also buy ingredients for Thursday night.

Evening - going out!! God, the one rare night in the year I go out and it's in the middle of this lot. Off to see Dara O'Briain.

Thursday (if I'm still comprehending the world generally)

    AM - office

PM - Chop and prepare ingredients for class tonight

Evening - teaching chinese cooking one off course until 9

    Friday

I have the day off as it's OH's birthday and I wasn't sure when his family were coming. However, I'll be spending the day writing and preparing a one-off press release writing course to be held on the Monday (ouch, bit close to it but I don't have any other time). Possibly go out for a curry in the evening if I can get him to agree - even the prospect of me paying doesn't seem to interest him!

    Saturday

AM - go into work and print and copy handouts and paperwork etc for Press release course.

PM - start doing some bloody AQA for the month ! (I still need to do at least £450 this month just to literally break even)

Must remember where I'm going - all 3 courses are all at 3 different venues!!

    Ohhhhhhh, dear........ _pale_

Maz - yes I'd easily find it if I was on my own, but I've learnt that with Wayne giving me directions there's not a snowball's chance in hell of getting anywhere in one piece.

To be fair, I've been a few miles north of there (Pitlochry) twice but only as a passenger who knows how to read a map and give clear directions or instructions to the driver.

His last effort was to follow the aa route plan (I'd printed it out I was that organised) and direct me from Skipton to Dewsbury. We ended up about 10 miles short of Manchester because instead of directing me at each road change, he just read from the top - at the roundabout first left, next roundabout third left, straight on at next, turn right, straight on etc:eek:

Of course, if he drove it would be so much easier cos I'd be able to read out the directions to him.

I've got a very, very small budget to buy the ingredients for the chinese course as it's a one off and the learners don't cook, I just demonstrate. I need to make it go as far as possible for as many dishes as possible for them to try. I'm deciding this afternoon what to do. So far I'm doing sweet and sour chicken and egg fried rice. I'm also going to do a stir fry dish and something with tofu. Just need to ensure there are plenty of woks available to me when I see the kitchens.
