Am back from my appointment. It went well; we discussed my options and we have decided that we'll do nothing and I will return in May 09 after LB arrives then have every investigation under the sun.

If I have any further episodes though, I'm to phone him or email him, get an urgent appointment and possibly be admitted for investigations under dual care of him and my obstetrician!

He volunteered his phone number and email addresss but I think that was because he realised I had access to it anyway ;)

So I feel really optimistic about it all once again.

Moring all - very worried about my gas meter, I have a pay as you go and had the heating on low overnight and it ate £5.00!! Luckily they are coming to check it today, but not even in theses times can that be correct.

Miss P I am off to France on Monday if it is something light and small you could send it ot me and I could post it from there.

I'm back and I'm still alive. In fact feel a whole lot better than i have done lately. Did no cardio but lots of reps work - small weights lots of times! hopefully build muscle, burn more calories....just got to run more to make it beneficial.

Cat - glad to see you are being looked after!

Afternoon all. Just heading back from meeting the lovely Jinky for coffee.

We had a nice blether. It's nice to have met a fellow MSEer in the flesh IYKWIM.

Dutifully phoned Hubbles afterwards to let him know she isn't an axe murderer :p

Thanks for the milk and apple pie Jinks!

And I did not get sucked into Dune on the way to the station and buy a new pair of boots...

Are you sure...........? (about the boots that is, am sure Jinky isn't an axe murderer :rotfl: ) Glad you two had a nice morning!

Glad to hear your appointment went well Cat, and lots of positive thoughts to DD for the little 'un. Sammy - very brave, sounds good though!

Am having a quiet-ish day here at work (not much change there then  ) and feeling permanently cold!

  • Hi all. Daphne Descends hope all goes well today. I have a heart murmour. I have had it since I was 4 and to be honest the only reason I remember about it is if I need to have any dental treatment then I need to take antibiotics before hand (and my dentist reminds me) and also I get the flu jab every year other than that it has never stopped me doing anything I was even heavily into sports when i was younger, but I can understand how anxious as a parent you must be feeling today.

Might even try some fly lady today.

    Morning everyone.

It's probably nothing but would really appreciate some positive thoughts today, we are taking Elliot to hospital this afternoon to find out about his heart, it's just a little heart murmur and most likely he will grow out of it, but nonetheless I am of course a bit worried :o though it may sound weird I am sort of glad today is here - the appointment was booked a month ago and it's felt like a long wait.

    hi DD
Stewart had a murmur when he was wee, went to hospital they checked it out and said it was nothing to worry about.
He is 15 now and has had no problems whatsoever,so I am sure all will be well.

And what can i say about Luc?

she sat scratching herself the whole time we were there:rotfl: :rotfl:

    and she IS very posh;)

and I had to buy boots this morning it was bloody freezing and thermal socks to wear with them:eek:
although mine came from the clarks factory shop
