what sell the gifts and in the future let the kids think they never got them anything ? ok, they have £1000 worth of 8 year old girl things and also 17 year old things you wana buy them, how do you think this man feels, heartless? they are his daughters and his daughters gifts from him,
again what should he do, it seems there are no real solutions
question still stands,
£180 a week wages
£65 csa
£75 rent
£25 council tax
how does one live ?
Well, let's look at it this way then:
£180 - CSA payment of £65 leaves £115.00.
Half of rent and half of council tax = £50, leaves £65 to cover 50% split of other essential bills plus spending money.
Other 50% of your essential joint living expenses are yours - where is the problem?

Girlies.....jacklink is a troll. Comes on now and again with questions like this to try and get an argument going..also uses another name and changes sex sometimes:eek:

i get nothing from my ex for our 2 daughters despite him and his wife both working and the kids coming back from weekends with them saying they are rich!! They buy then clothes sometimes to wear while they are staying with them, but that's about it.......Man who run into airport turn-styles is going to Bangkok
To steal ideas from one person is plagiarism; to steal from many is research

she doesnt have a job, and cant work.
p.s. ive been asked to ask, would you work full time for 115 a week ?0 -
Firstly you/your friend are one hell of a selfish person. You have your own kids, don't you expect their other parent to contribute to their upbringing?
Why are you so aggrevated and determined against helping your partner?
One question, how do you currently afford to live seen as your partner isn't working? Do you pay the bills? As for the gifts, how did you afford £1000 worth of gitfts if he doesn't have a job and doesn't have money? Did you contribute? If he paid for them why didn't he use the money to pay towards the bills or CSA, surely he would be better off contributing to his childrens living costs than buying them gifts they will have outgrown or never see by the time they receive them? You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

Oh and if it meant that I would be helping to feed and clothe my kids and keep a roof over their heads i would work all the hours i could even for a pittance. As a parent you do those selfless things to provide for your children! You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

I'm not married but I was always under the impression that it was a shared partnership in all meanings.

No-body is being asked to work for £115 PW, the pay is £180.
After my bills are paid I prob work for £10 PW:rotfl:
Your pay is the amount you get BEFORE your debts & expenses are removed.
If the "wife" is incapacitated then I guess she will be in receipt of incapacity benefits? Perhaps she should use those for towards her living expenses;)0 -
I dont think the OP can keep her story straight! Moving on up
