Is this legal?!

Is this legal, yes! Please MSErs if you want a good local photographer and at more than one session, please check out the SWPP (Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers. Most would have their own studio either at home or on the high street. They would get to know you and take pictures that bring out your beauty. Also they would enhance your appearance by using professional software to remove blemishes and straighten the edges.
(Please note that I am a semi professional photographer and this response is not professional advice. I am listed on the SWPP database)0 -

The question was is it legal to divulge details of her transaction with a third party. to which the answer is 'no' not 'yes'.
Yes they can charge what they like, but that was not the question or the main subject of the post.0 -

You're a broken record are you? Still don't know what you're talking about?0 -
This is a breach of the Data Protection Act 1998. This Act makes it a criminal offence for any person to process personal information without that information complying with the "eight principles" of personal data.
The eight principles require data to be :-- fairly and lawfully obtained;
- held only for specific and lawful purposes and not processed in any manner incompatible with those purposes;
- adequate, relevant and not excessive for those purposes;
- accurate and where necessary kept up-to-date, not kept for longer than necessary;
- processed in accordance with the rights of the person to whom the data refers;
- kept securely to ensure data is not lost, disposed of or misused;
- not transferred out of the European Economic Area unless the destination has an adequate level of data protection.
Damages are only payable if you suffered material loss, however, as the Data Protection Act makes a criminal offence of the above prosecution is still possible. Report them to the Information Commissioner. There is no way they should be disclosing information such as that.#145 Save £12k in 2016 Challenge: £12,062.62/£12,000.00 Beginning Balance: £5,027.78 CHALLENGE MET

First of all thank you to everyone who has replied.
I'm not after any compensation, I'm just a bit miffed that they discussed my account details without my permission thats all. ( I've spoken to the OH who knows more about things like this then I do and he said they were out of order for discussing it )
The photo shoot was actually a christmas present off my OH ( I only got round to using it now ) It's not for a portfolio or anything like that.
I have a few grievances with this company to be honest, they're not exactly the most professional in how they deal with people ( it was only yesterday I sent a complaint off to them, and then I found out they've done this! ).GROCERY CHALLENGE!!October £150/£158.61

COMPENSATION.Are you Cartman from Southpark?
Yeah, thought you were.
That's a pretty out-of-character childish response from you Tim, was almost as if...as if...dangeroussports had written it himself. Forgotton who you were signed in as?
Wig, FYI, dangeroussports is the idiotic troll that gets brought out every now and again, as opposed to sarcastic troll (Brooker) and nasty troll ('batman).0 -
