A quick question. I receive quite a few large envelopes/parcels which contain wads of blank paper (for the weight). Do you all return the paper or keep it? Just asking as I always return it but it would be useful to keep for my 2 darlings to use (they are always nicking my printer paper which I don't realise til I have something vitally important to print lol).
I have read somewhere on here that people don't always return the contents as just the envelope is needed, plus it is better for Kantar as they have less postage to pay. (I have also received a canvas bag today that I wouldn't mind keeping!)
Thank you
I always send back all the paper I receive in the packets as I presume/hope they then reuse it when they are making up peoples posting packs for the following weeks.
I would send them a cheeky email asking to keep the canvas bag though if it came with test items from a magazine or something, I can't see them needing that again! I think people on here were allowed to keep chocolate bars that came with Hello magazineI wish I had a canvas bag through..... only had boring new media age, don't even bother opening it to read it anymore!!!

If anyone is interested, I asked when I would get the stamps for december as the ones I got last week were for november.
The reply was below:Thank you for your email. Your stamps covering the month of December plus an extra set of xmas stamps will be in your pack of items due for posting during the week commencing Monday 29th December 2008. You should get this pack during the week commencing Monday 8th December 2008.I hope this is satisfactory.Regards,The Postal Survey TeamNo you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!

I used to send mine back but then when I spoke to Kantar one of the guys told me that for the weight side of things it was better not too however this guy was from a different part of the company so I'm never too sure what to do - usually depends on how much other stuff I have to send back.2020 Mortgage-Free Wannabes #20 £1495.03/£2760 OP0 -

first two times i sent the paper back but then kept it as it's gonna cost them more in postage to receive it-and i've been doing it a year with no complaints.i can't see how they would re-use the paper for posting packs as it has a crease in the middle and every sheet i've received in my pack has been brand new0 -

I meant they might reuse it when they put a packet into someone elses weekly envelope.
I imagine them going through the envelopes we send back each week with items received, taking the bits out and if there is a wedge of paper from the packets they might put it in a pile for the person preparing the weekly envelopes that get sent out to us saving them throwing it away and weighing another wedge to put in.0 -
