Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Name Dropper I've been Money Tipped!
I had a note left by the postman this week as one of the letters sent to me did not have enough postage. Just in case anyone else has this problem - I phoned & was sent a book of 6 stamps. I had to put 4 of them on the card to return to RM to cover the postage/charge so that it could be delivered to me. Other 2 stamps went in my pot.
Great fun though, as the card came back to me the next day!! So still had to visit the sorting office who were very apologetic. Luckily it was on my route that day.

Just got this e-mail. Thought would post as i got this letter:

    Dear Panellist,

It is possible that you may receive an incorrect item to post in your
weekly packs for posting over the next few weeks. This is due to a
system error and we apologise in advance if you are affected by this.
The faulty item will be addressed to:

    Mr HMRC BSI
    VAT Controller
    VAT Central Unit
    BD98 1YY

Please do not post this item, either dispose of the envelope or return
it to us, we will send you the correct item in a separate pack, which
    will be addressed:

    VAT Controller
    VAT Central UNIT
    BX5 5AT

This is as your online plan states and will be a preprinted small white
    envelope.

Once again our apologies for this, you will find a book of stamps in the
    pack containing the correct letter.

Many thanks for your continued help and support.

  • I just signed up for a £6 correct delivery survey in December. Anybody can you tell me as ir didn't say where can you spend the vouchers they send out? Also what is a correct delivery survey and what does it entail please?

They are High Street Vouchers so plenty of places take them

Usually it involves writing down how many letters you receive each day and whether you receive any that are not meant for you etc. If you get any of those then you just record the details etc

I recieved my pack this morning. The survey runs from 24th November 2008-6th December 2008. You just need to enter the number of letters/packets/parcels u recieve everyday and how many, if any misdeliveries u have. For every misdelivery u have u need to fill in a short from separately.
  • I have just registered online and it says I should receive a welcome pack in the next few days. It will be handy for me as I have a postbox on my road and always need stamps:rotfl:
My mantra is "Never pay full price!" ;)
  • Thanks, does the mail delivered just mean postman deliveries or does it include the Royal Mail Vans for parcels?

Mine isn't till December sometime, looking forward to it(How sad am I!!!!):rotfl:
