  • Hi I'm rather spooked this morning.........

I have recieved a mailing from ELC today without my test initials but in the address window next to my address on the right hand side are 5 numbers that also appear on my test mail magazines.......I wonder why that is?

The ELC stuff cannot be test mail as like I say it doesnt have my test initials....but what are the numbers there for or what do they do?:confused:

    Seriously seriously spookified
  • I have had this in the past also and it's just something to do with your area code or something. As long as it does not have your test initials on then it's ok.

ok now im even more confused i went to log that i had sent the items but every time i get to which postbox the only option i have is to add another mail box....grrrrr...so i do then it still just goes back to 'was the item sent today' and goes through the whole process again......

I'm taking part in this survey i have posted 4 letters up to now and received a couple of packets of free stamps.

how long does the survey go on for, and is it likely i will receive any other freebie
All the big powers they've silenced me. So much for free speech and choice on this fundamental human right, and outing the liars.

    Hi
The numbers are to do with the way they're posted so most organisations which send out a large number of items will use this method.
Alot of my post comes with 51432 .

The survey goes on for aslong as they need you, or as long as you want to continue.
Some people have been doing it for years.

You do get the odd mis-delivery survey and you get £6 of vouchers for that, but otherwise its just the stamps.
You need to check the webpage to check for misdelivery surveys. They're dead easy and only last two weeks.
Theres always the chance to win in the draw too.

I think for how little you have to do (as long as you live near a PO or a postbox) then its well worth doing. I
    Veni, Vidi, Visa. I came, I saw, I shopped:rolleyes:
  • Any idea when the next mis delivery survey is starting?

I got a call about a week ago asking if I'd do one (I'm no longer need for the day to day stuff) and I accepted. I haven't recieved any paperwork and wondered if they were planning in advance or if they've forgotten about me.
