I agree - apart from letters from individuals & smaller companies, I often receive items from BT, Abbey, Lloyds and even the Inland Revenue. So absolutely everything with my test initials, go back to Kantar.

Just received my posting pack for w/c 23 March & included is a sheet about unidentified test items. Looks as though they have not been receiving everything back that they should have.

The sheet should make it easier for everyone who has been uncertain what to expect and what to do with it.

Its quite a simple rule. Anything that comes in your test intials needs to be logged and returned.

I came off the training a couple of weeks ago, have been getting a lot more to post and ones that say to include SMARTS (touchwood this continues). However they've not sent me any SMARTs and every time I click to prepare them they say it's no longer a SMART item? This has happened to all three or four I've had so far, anyone else had this?
I was looking forward to seeing these "infamous" things.:p
There have been some weeks when I have had no Smarts but the schedule says add Smart. Today I am sitting with six Smarts with nothing to post until next week.

I've been on "training" for a month, now i am getting test items sent to me. am i corect in thinking i can recycle everything once i've entered it online? do i just keep the smarts?
    Julie
  • No you can't recycle anything you have to send it all back once a week (preferably a Friday) in the large envelopes they send you HTH

  • Let me try explain it to you (although it should all be explained on the site anyway)

You get posting pack once a week with items you need to post out (training all goes to one person but once you've done training you send to different people)

At various points during the week you will get different items with your TEST initials on, these have to be recorded online & put inside the big envelope (You keep the smarts for now) - this doesn't apply during training.

Some items you get with your TEST initials on will have a SMART in them (if you haven't had one yet don't worry it will make sense later) keep these in your SMART folder until needed.

Some items you need to post out will ask you to put a SMART in them, just pick one from the stock you have & mark online which one you have put in, if you leave it til late to do this then it will show online which one to chose instead.

Then on a Friday post all the stuff you need to send back in the big envelope, remember to put a sticker on it (with a barcode on)

That's about it I think, does that help???

Anything like the posting pack envelope, the sheet with your PO boxes on & the posting plan itself can be binned as you usually would but would keep them til end of week in case you need to check anything.

Posting schedules and anything else with another persons address or details that may show that they are members of the survey must be shredded!!!!

I wouldn't be happy if a posting schedule with my name and address or any other sensitive details were just recycled, I shred anything to do with the survey that doesn't need to be sent back, HTH:D
