Having read through all the previous posts in this forum, I would suggest that a lot of the people who have been participating in the survey don't have the first idea about what they're meant to be doing!!

    Hmm i do agree :D

How many times does it have to be said what a 'smart' is?

If you read all the instructions that are provided it is pretty much self explanatory!!

It doesn't take that long to read them!!
I only asked as I havent had one yet..

smarts are orange and have a sticker with 4 letters on them, to identify each smart. They have a chip inside them which tracks the journey they take from when you post the item to when the person receives them.

Oh good grief, please don't let there be a punch up on this nice board. It'll be just like the mummy wars on the Old Style board and I was rather hoping to give them a miss...

Yeah, whatever. I'm a grown up, I can take it...

i am wondering if anyone wants to donate any stamps that they don't want as we can use them to help to pay for postage costs of parcels we send to hospitals. We send knitted and crochet clothing to special care baby units and babies that who sadly don't survive.
Each parcel we send cost us £3.21

Shezmit, I have such a huge stockpile I would be delighted to send a pack. Will make me feel warm and fluffy for the next half hour. Could you pm me an address I should send them to. Can't find one on the website. Cheers

I got accepted 2 weeks ago and have been diligently sticking labels and posting letters sticking rigidly to the rules - not easy in a rural area. Just got an email from research international saying I was surplus to requirements. Seems a lot of hassle for 2 weeks - is this why Royal Mail is going down the drain perhaps?

Welcome, Sally. Backtrack a few pages in this thread and you will find you are in good company as far as the surplus to requirements go. I'm still going but shan't be complacent about it...

I have just found a use for the 4 pages of yellow stickers I have left with the surveys, I have just planted 3 trays of different flower seeds and used a yellow sticker on each one so that I know which ones they are, sad I know but I hate:j wasting anything.

I am being lazy not looking up the training instructions so don't shoot me. How long do you keep a non R numbered letter before you post it back? I check every day and it is still not on the list. Is it 4 weeks or 3  or have they changed it? Bring back the yellow labels they were a lot easier and quicker than waiting weeks till an item appeared on the list.I have a misdelivery survey starting the week after next and that is the 4 th or 5th I have had since I started more than a year ago. Must say I like the £6 in vouchers:T
