    help please!

I can't seem to register a postbox on the system. I have prepared and posted the item but the website is not working? Have tried calling them but the lines are now closed. :(

This is my first posting as well.
Hey, don't worry, you don't have to enter you items on the system the same day you post them (although it helps if you do - or am I the only one to forget stuff? :o) You can try again tomorrow, or ring them in the morning, they really are very helpful. hth

btw, just checked and the website is working for me?

If you are looking for the postbox i.d on the postbox and it is missing you can find it by googling post box locations.
    Like good food and drink?
    Try Hotel Chocolat and Baileys.

    I'm worried :'(

I have nothing to post on my schedule next week - all my SMARTs have been requested back and the item I was due to receive with no R number has gone... I think I may get chucked off
  • I'm in exactly the same situation, Koy. And I only had one posting to make this week.
(PS: well perhaps not quite exacly the same - haven't received anything for next week yet.)

I'm half suspecting it's just a low-traffic period associated with what seems may be their switching of Smart types. But let's compare notes in a week.

While I'm here, their new method of dealing with items received without R numbers may be easier for them, but I think it's going to a bit of a pain for us. I already have one that doesn't exactly match the templates they have on-line. Having to keep it separately and remember to recheck again for a match, and then eventually send it back, could be tedious.

Having said that, have just tried it with that one that arrived on 21 Feb. No match found then but, thankfully, there was one today.
  • Hi,

I also have had all my smarts requested back, and this is my second week without anything to post!

Ah you're probabally right! The SMARTs must be getting an upgrade or new batteries... I shouldn't panic then... I thought it was odd that the posting pack for this week came very earlier a couple of weeks ago!

The smarts are an ornage packet, sometimes u get sent them or you post them out thats usually after 4 weeks or so.

basically it has a magnet inbuilt, which when it goes through the post office internal systems it registers, just to keep an extra eye out.

    (sorry very basic explanation) x
