thanks for the link I signed up and got my first pack today :)

The Royal Mail Surveys is a site that rewards you with stamps for helping them by posting tester letters back to them.

You then fill in a survey online telling them when you received their mail and when you posted yours back. They provide you with the necessary equipment you need (i.e stamped envelopes, addresses etc)

We've had post at 7.30pm once, and it is usually about 2.30pm. Although it has been a bit earlier this week. I was pleased to have a test mail in the 7.30pm delivery, so at least Royal Mail know that this is going on.

Yes, I'm pleased it's been logged too, but I don't think anything will change... although spookily yesterday (the day after my rant!) the post arrived at 13:15....!

Speaking of times when post is delivered, in the days when the postal service was good we used to get our mail around about 7am it was the same when I stayed in Glasgow, maybe it is because the sorting office is about a 3 minute walk from my house.Bring back the days when there were two deliveries a day. Instead of improving the service it has got worse. To me, getting mail after 1pm is as useful as a chocolate teapot. :D

Are you sure that it is the postman that is delivering your mail at that time? The reason I ask is a couple of times in the past few years I have had mail put through my door late at night (8-9pm) only to find that it was a neighbour putting it through because it was put through their door.

    Couldn't agree more.
  • Thanks for the link to sign up. I was looking forward to taking part but I answered all the questions to be told that my area was fully subscribed. :(
Hopefully there'll be an opening soon!

I signed up, got my pack, went trekking to find a post box other than the one outside the post office - literally a couple of doors away. Was out for about half an hour, to come back and find that I had an email saying they didn't need me - not much impressed!!!!
