  • Hi Smamfer

See we just need a hint and we are very nosey. Good diary though enjoyed reading your story. Glad you have found a new house and a new (well he is getting quite permanent now) bf. Keep chasing for your compensation though so they don't do that to somebody else.

    I will keep reading

    Good luck with the move.

You're right about trying, because until you ask you will never know. Just think of all the extra house things you could buy.....

Hi Smamfer, just caught up with your last couple of pages. Excellent news on the bungalow :T .

2miles from the shop sounds like a good distance, near enough if you need it but far enough away not to be nipping in all the time (for chocolate, magazines etc)

Good luck with your packing - maybe at the same time you might come across extra things to ebay?

I'm driving down to lincs tomorrow, hope the snow doesn't settle, its only sleety rain here in notts.

    well done on moving forwards,
what a great new years present to find lovely bf i hope things work out for you

 at the house spending. have you not thought about getting stuff off www.freecycle.org! Would have saved you a fortune. Though i have to say a washing machine for under £100 is pretty impressive!

    good luck with 2009

Hi chev thanks for popping in hope all is well with you

I have used freecycle before but like a lot of other people state you often have to offer things as well as take. Plus as i had had my own place before i did house share i was lucky enough to have a lot of the things but it was smaller bits i needed which often amount up when you starting off.. Id forgotten how much you actually need and knowing me now i will have already had it stored in the garage :rotfl:

12 hour shift for me today:mad: then possibly more packing later depending on how i feel having a bit of a down morning

Wow that's a long shift and packing as well. Still just keep concentrating on your new bungalow it will be a brand new start for you. I used to move house a lot and I loved it because it was a chance to declutter and start again. Been in this house 11 years though so the next move is probably going to involve skips, especially as I would like to try minimal next time, fat chance with 4 kids though LOL.

    Have a good weekend.

    Evening all! :heart2:

Did we all get spoilt or do it true dfw and just say something nice and save a quid??:rotfl:

Me and bf due to moving next week and buying so much for the house promised each other just a card... i got to his mums and theres a massive bouquet..:smileyhea

I started to tell him off but he said that although they wasnt planned due to his wife ( separated honest lol) being a swine lately and really trying to get between us i had been his rock and been there for him etc so i deserved him.

Anyway working a nice 9 hour shift tonight into the wee small early hours of morning have a packet of cadbury choccie biscuits too many smokes and a bottle of pop...Oh im spoilt!

Done some shopping lately and used Quidco for everything. so thats good over 100 sitting there.. also used it for my house contents insurance and got..

    £68.00 for the year originally
    Then 15% online discount
    Then £42.50 cashback
Then a £20 virgin wines voucher :T I think they ended up paying me lol

THIS ^^^^ is just one of the reasons why this website is a lifesaver!

    Love to all xx
