Wow im getting a regular in here..
Just finished work and i fancied a bit of me time before i start on something else money making lol
As you may or may not have read im currently renting two rooms out from a friend of mine for me and my daughter i pay £400 a month for these with everything elose apart from food included, not bad but still gets a bit uncomfy if my bf wants to come round and we sat in living room etc etc. So lately we just been talking about getting a place,. We aint been together long but we are very happy so without laying any deep plans thought we would have a look,
Browsing in our local papers i found this lovely farm lodge up for rent at a cheap price. its £450 a month!! Its 4 bedroom and talk about rural its in the muiddle of nowhere but this kind of living really appeals to me. I was brought up living in fields so to speak and i enjoyed it. Rang the EA to ask about it and said the price is reflected due to the location rather than the state of the house. The going rent for an ordinary town house round here of that size would probably be about £900 a month. Anyway apparently like a lot of properties round here the farmers want the land but not the property so rent it out, some farm workers had been in it but they now going and hes tidying it up to rent out again. Went for a drive to see it and i fell in love straight away, t has one of those semi circle in and out drives with a wild garden that needs taming but plenty of space and it has a caravan a garage and big rooms inside from what we could make out. Its nearest neighbour is about 3 miles and to me thats heaven lol. It has oil central heating which i have never dealt with before and a big tank in the back garden but tucked away at one side. Anyway we are hoping to be able to get a viewing inside of it next week.
There is also a town house on a new estate 3 bedroom with en suite furnished for £575 a month. all very pretty but you know after seeing the other one i just couldnt take to it but i know deep down it would be the most sensible choice. Right on the bus route for when DD goes up to secondary school. 6 miles closer to bf work my family and his and in walking distance to the shops. Its not an ugly house but the thought of having to live with someone elses possessions just makes me cringe,,,,
We have a viewing for this new one on monday and i know my dd would prefer it as would my bf but i also know if my heart was in the rural farm cottage he would go with me on that one. .... oh decisions decisions..
Wftx sent me a letter today :rotfl: with my new award notice due to me going from employed to self employed... The numptys they are yet again! Rather than taking 3/4 of this years employed earnings and 1/4 of this years s/e earnings and awarding me on that.... they took a full years employed pay and a full years s/e pay and tol dme i had an income of 40k and i owe the money!! I got straight on the phone and put them straight so now awaiting another award notice lol
I been slicing the pie and really giving it a good go and now im off to do some again,, i make it less monotonous by playing literati (scrabble) on yahoo as im reviewing lol

Afternoon all did you have a nice weekend?
My cold has more or less gone so imnot resembling someone who has taps for nostrils!
:rolleyes:Had an ok wknd., been down to look at the house for the 3rd time showed my dd too and she seems ok with it eventhough its in middle of nowhere. Went to the estate agents who said they will be holding an open day in a week/2 weeks when the decorators have been in and then its a case of application forms and if many interested then the landlord deciding......I have to keep an open mind, suppose i thought due to where it was and us spotting it first we would have it but i have to be realistic and anything could happen!
:TWent to bingo Friday night with bf and my ma and he won £70 quid and i won £20 we were both chuffed and this will pay for the credit check/reference check for the house, The cash is still in the envelopes waiting to be used!
:DWent " housey" shopping yesterday doing the whole bottom drawer can we get bargains etc kind of shopping and got some! Bought 2 lovely dinner services and some place mats along with a big knife set and steak knives all at bargain prices. Then bf decided we needed a treat and bought a 19" flat screen hd ready tv which is also an ipod docking station/ a dvd player/ freeview built in/ and a pc monitor. I did state clearly we didnt need it straight away but my house mate being a bit of a pain when he is here with me so this way we can go upstairs and watch tele plus it will be for the house when we move.
 Checked online banking this morning and my credit limit on my credit card has doubled  I haven't requested this or even asked about it so how can they just do it??
Anyway im working from home this morning and then its cooking a roast. bf back on nights tonight and im working from home this evening amongst washing ironing etc etc etc... Have a nice one all xx2025 Wins ::

Hi,
Just read your thread from start to finish!
Very interesting reading.
Firstly, I'm jealous as hell re: new bf.....although sounds like you are finally being treated like yo deserve. Hope the move goes well (i'm voting for the rural place too)
Secondly, the wickedness in me, would hunt down evidence on the ex. Just to show that he can't get away with 'fiddling the system'
Thirdly, you must have stones the size of melons to do the saucy texting!!! very brave woman
Ah and lastly, verybelated congratulations to you DD. You have obvously raised a fantastic child who is doing you proud.LBM May 2007 -£20584!!! (£18k is ex-husbands-nice guy, eh? )

:hello:
Morning debt busters hope you are all well. Got a bit of a feel good factor going on so wanted to share it, Nothing has majorly changed just realised feeling down only makes me feel as if i have the world on my shoulders when actually i only have my little world there!
So whats been happening with me in the past couple of days .. Hmm nothing overly exciting. but here is a run down...
House .. Still wanting to constantly ring the estate agents and black mail her into only letting us view it but im refraining and just hoping the decorators are not in too long and the viewings are seen... Don't think i have kept anything crossed this long... Hmm does that sound right?:rotfl:
Job.. Working from home still going ok not done masses this week as of yet but i will be working day and night now till the end of the week so should bring me up to my personal targets of what i wish to earn each week.
Wftx..Not quite sure what is going on with these as usual. As you may or may not know they have never seemed to get my payments right and im awaiting yet another award notice from them. But this week instead of £45 going in on monday they paid £27 due to them having my figures wrong last month. But today i have checked my online banking and there is a payment off £61.00 and a payment of £7.55 gone in and showing as "bank credits" so im figuring thats it. Im not knocking it just hope when i get my paperwork from them this time it is actually right.. ok ok so im hoping but hey got to have a bit of hope haven't you!
So not a bad week really new bf is crap at dropping hints to find out things and asked me casually ..." when is rent day" i knew straight away he was going to offer to help so i just ignored it, still finding it hard to get out of this.." your actually not single and its ok for people to help now and then mode" anyway we went into town yesterday he left me in Argos waiting to collect something and he nipped to the bank and stuffed £200 in my handbag while i was cooking tea ... Its still there and i don't know if i can accept it as he is buying stuff along with me for our place when we get one but he also g ets my food shopping in as i cook for him every night.. I don't want him to feel as if he needs to treat me i would rather us work for things together and i keep on telling him this...
Anyway im not working till 12 so rather than sit here reading everything im going to do my ironing and then........... come back and read everything :rotfl:
