Sat night,, ive been working all day and night and bf @ work and as he works nights im sat in my bedroom sorting figures out incase we get house.. Nothings looking too bad and we decided when we do get moved in i will have folders/accounts for everything down to the last penny and be in charge of finances.
Just sat here going through statements of my payments a day which is a thread i adore on here and come up with these totals..
This is excluding any standing orders/direct debits i pay to my debtors it just includes extra payments to...
Starting 25th October 2008
Halifax credit card £186.76
Capital one credit card £154.68
Ba 2o/d £176.63
This totals £418.07:T:j:T:j:T
I think i could wee lol
Anything else.. hmmm oh yes got a letter today from the company i was going to start working with... the ones that told me to hand my notice in blah de blah... I wrote to them asking for compensation etc. They wrote back to me today saying their staff said it hadnt happened like i stated..(yeah right!) but due to a miss communication they are offering a gesture of goodwill to reimburse me so if i want to put down a list of losses they will have a look. I am putting down wages that i would have earnt in my previous job but whether i get them or not is another thing..
Hopefully hear on bungalow on monday as the estate agents are just waiting on my bf work place to fax over a letter saying " yes its him and yes he works here" I got my credit check back through experian today and it was relatively pretty with nothing bad on it which put my mind at ease that it wasnt my debt going to hold us up.
Right oh ladies and gents thinks thats about me done for tonight... love to all xxx

hiya luc thanks for popping in sweetie ill be over to your pad in a mo to make sure your ok lol
The original house we looked out was completely in the sticks but that was just being delayed and delayed and asmuch as it was gorgeous in hindsight it come with cons as in 4 miles from nearest shop bad wintry roads etc etc and with bf being on nights my dd wasnt so sure she would be overly happy there.
This one we are moving in to in urmmmm 10 days  is a detached bungalow...it is a little bit rural but only 2 miles from shops on a nice straight albeit farmish style road but still better
went out shopping against yesterday we bought a suite from AHF last week but as its big we didnt think we would get a big living room so ordered 1 big sofa and 1 chair.. as it happens this living room we will have is mashooosive so went back to ask about a discount on the other chair,.. they would only give us £50 off the chair. not bad but we wanted lower so i said sod it let them be left with one chair :rotfl:
Housemate is ok about me going as i said previously i told a lil fib but all is ok. makes things easier for me and no nastiness what with me leaving so soon, it was always going to be a short term thing anyway
Sorted home and bb out last night for new place and have gone with the Post office as NO contract and a very very good deal. Didnt want to touch BT with a barge pole if i could help it.
So everything ok. bf did some more shopping last night which i cringe at but he says we will be fine... I just know i wil be at our dining room table papers everywhere making sure we are on top of things and not struggling.
Im working today 12 hours but between it need to get packing too ... I love the thought of a new place... but i HATE packing and moving!!

Congrats on the house. Realy is great news.
I hate the thought of packing. When we moved into our house we only needed to fill a transit up a few times. Now I think we would need an entire fleet of 'em!!:rotfl:
Our loft is being re-insulated next month and we have to clear it out  , really not looking forward to that!

Hi Samfer, things are going great for you! Did you try speaking to a manager at the furniture shop, offering cash etc Sometimes this might persuade them to change their minds.

Awww thanks for popping in guys dead nice of you
George comp claim still going through thanks for reminder MUST get the letter done tomorrow but what with everything going on i totally forgot.
Luc it was actually the manager that we spoke to and offered him cash there and then, bf actually got his....... wallet out lol.. but still said the lowest he could take was £199 so it was thanks but no thanks Ive worked in these places and i know they could take lower rather than being left with a single chair from an end of line range but hey ho there you go!
Elsas mum hello sweetie and welcome to the madhouse :rotfl: im excited but already im thinking about finances and things which then makes me worry, just tighten our belts will be fine as we are naughty and eat out a bit but thats prob as he lives with his folks and i am in a house share so nowhere to call our own and its always easy to just sod off out and scoff! I dont mind packing as such,,, its loading the van haha i am such a wuss when it comes to lifting i like everything to be in then send everyone out and let me organise where me beans are going!:rotfl:
Still working tonight ., watching england. well our sad excuse for a football team as usual. Bf just text me to say hes got extra time off work which ties in with the move which is a bonus. Yes we did some more shopping today but needed stuff no junk. m y folks garage is now brimming at the sides but we really have covered everything from a can opener to a sofa to a bed so now its time to get money back in the bank lol
