  • Or Sale Track ;)

but yeh, it's not looking too good.

Hopefully another courier company will fancy getting involved with the the re-seller market. It's certainly big enough...I'd say it's worth £20m+.
  • Wigi will probably be gone on Monday anyway.

Although shipping manager are good, you can get a similar service through Sale Track, but cheaper.

whats the url for sale track?
  • I just rushed over here to tell you all about these price increases....but you already knew.....ages ago! lol

Does anyone know of any of the re-sellers that will still have a cheap sell rate, even if it's not with DHL? Freightsearch haven't announced anything and i'm waiting for someone to get back to me. Parcelbroker.co.uk said they are trying to keep the increases as low as possible and it may be approx £8. Interparcel haven't announced a thing and P2g have announced but aren't giving anything away as to what their increases will be!

I was told by Greg at Parcelbroker that some of the really big resellers may keep their rates the same even though they'd make a loss. This is because they could attract lots of customers from the other companies who put the rates up on Monday. So if you're going to make a switch i'd think about calling the new reseller and seeing when they might be putting their rates up!

There is something massively repulsive and scoundrel in DHL putting up their prices way over inflation ON THE DAY when VAT is cut by 2.5%. PR Fail if I ever seen one.
In fact, if citylink and interlink express don't use it to bring down their biggest rival by slashing their prices it will mean they don't have half a management brain between them.
  • are you for real, I work as a freight forwarding agent and I can tell you that this year has been really hard. , fuel surcharges this year was up to 20% and currency surcharges for exports were being charged at 7%, and now you moan that a box may go up from from £6-£8. I think £8 is a fair price to pay myself.

Well, all I can offer is "world smallest violin" with my fingers. I understand the life of freighter is tough and it's the world against you all and to quote postman from Seinfeld "the mail just never stops coming". :)
But the choice between picking 1st December and 1st January for a price hike in this particular case, on this particular Monday is a choice between being perceived as bunch of a-holes or being perceived as reasonable. IMHO, PR failure.

On the first of the thread there is snapshot of their prices and a link to screen shots of the interface.

Is Directparceldistribution still with Fedex as I noticed that they offer European deliveries with the DHL?
