Freightsearch offer the cheapest DHL 1-2 day delivery up to 15kg at £7.92. The problem is the insurance they offer is not valid so only use them if your item has no value. There is also no option to pay by Paypal, only direct card payment.
If you want to use DHL I would recommend www.interparcel.com instead. They offer DHL 1-2 day delivery up to 30kg for £8.03. £50 insurance included.
If you want a fast alternative to DHL, www.parcelcheap.com , offer DPD next day delivery up to 30kg for £9.50. £100 insurance included.
Payperparcel offer DHL 2-3 day delivery for £9.53. They hide behind their VAT exclusive price because they’re not competitive. They might offer good customer service but so do Interparcel & Parcelcheap so the extra cost is not justified. Until everyone else increase prices they’re not really an option.
For sending to Europe www.parcelmachine.com , www.interparcel.com & www.shippingmanager.co.uk offer good rates.
DPD are a reliable UK courier, more info at www.dpd.co.uk. They have no connection with Direct Parcel distribution who are a rogue booking agent.0 -

I new from the beginning - it's all about promoting parcelcheap!
There is no Terms & Conditions, no Privacy Policy, no business address... It's against UK Distance Selling Regulations. Spam again and I will personally report you to OFT!
They should be added to avoid list, there is no place for guys like you here!
By tha way is it another Shafi's idea?0 -
Did you actually read the post I made? At the moment the first page of this forum is outdated. Apart from Freightsearch the companies promoted are not the best deals available + the prices are inaccurate.
I’ve made several recommendations based on my own personal experience. I did like Freightsearch until I needed to make a loss claim & they decided to ignore me. So I lost £100 even though I should have been covered. Since then i’ve been using Interparcel & Parcelcheap. Both have never let me down, have good customer service & offer the best UK prices. For international deliveries I have used all the mentioned companies so therefore can recommend.
Don't attack a fellow moneysaver for providing useful information. The companies I have mentioned are providing the best deals. I have no motive other than to help others & to stop people making the same mistakes I have. It does not make sense to attack companies that are offering good deals unless they have done harm to you or others.[FONT="]

A quick question.
We send several parcels through DHL a week - the boxes are mainly between 70cm - 100cm in length and 50cm high and 50cm deep and over 15kg.
Most of the cheap re-sellers' prices jump significantly as soon as the box size is over 70cm long.
The latest re-seller we used had a single price for all sizes up to their maximum, unfortunately they have gone.
Are there any more that have a flat rate?
Or can we ignore the volumetric / size restrictions below 120cm x 60cm x 60cm for DHL or 100cm x 50cm x 50cm for PF?0 -
www.parcelcheap.com have a flat rate, you don't have to enter dimensions. Max weight is 30kg, Max length is 120cm & max girth is 270cm so that works out at 67cm for height & 67cm for width. https://www.shippingmanager.co.uk also have a flat rate for the following dimensions 30kg, 120cm,60cm,60cm. Both companies offer 1-2 day DHL for £9.20. If your prepared to pay £9.20 for DHL then you might as well pay a bit more & get DPD next day instead.
Don't ignore size restrictions because the agent may get oversize charges which will inevitably be passed onto us via price increases.0 -
We wouldn't have this forum without him!
I don't know about that ludwip; I'm sure there would still be a thread. But I don't think I'd be too wrong in saying the majority of the posts would be spam; whether it is obvious or ridiculous tales about other companies. 6 months ago this thread was a nightmare, barely worth reading. I may not of created too many friends in the way I operate this thread, but that doesn't matter, what I hope I've achieved is thread where people can ask for advice and post problems- one of the good things about this thread is all the companies look at it, so if you post your problem here it would probably be dealt with in seconds.
One of the most important elements of this thread is that it is for people who use the services and NOT for those who provide them. At this point I'd like to thank the majority who don't post, spam or interfere in this thread- probably after seeing the consequences. I can imagine its mighty tempting to post somewhere which gets 500+ views a day.
Unfortunately we've had a first, one of the bigger courier agents has started posting on here, and although elements have been helpful the underlying tone is nothing short of shameful.- Posting as a Manager/M.D of courier agent. Especially as one who doesn't get that much direct exposure here, it's pretty obvious what your aims are going to be. Apart from anything why should you be allowed and others aren't? I'm sure interparcel's M.D would love to be able to post on here, but he doesn't. Ridiculous move.
- Making up a false tale about a competitor. I am staggered by the stupidity of this, there's a multiple of reasons a) detracts from the value/use of the thread b) what's stopping everyone else do it (to you as well) c) it always back fires d) fear is all consuming and not brand specific, no one trust anyone as it is without this sort of thing! When you look at the people who have done it in the past, to name two Shafi and DPD. Desperation measures this, as if you have nothing to lose?! This is really 'courier cost cutting thread's' equivalent of sleeping with your best friends sister.
- Trying to further oligopalise the market by installing fear. Denouncing everyone as rouge, stating no one can be trusted bar one or two. That would be great 3 re-sellers left, prices at £9.45+vat, everyone’s happy. No. This market may be somewhat plagued by fly by nights, but making out there are no genuine alternatives is disgraceful. Remember you're posting on a moneysaving forum, a forum where people are prepared to go to lengths to save money. Really ill-thought out that one.
- Persistently making out paypal is the holy grail of safe payment methods. When it's quite clearly not the case, this thread is the very testament to it. The fact people lost money from payperdrop, ppw and parceltree who all used paypal says it all. I have no problem with paypal, but I just don't want them to be fooled by the myopic conjecture of yourself or mystique of safety which surrounds paypal.
- Suggestion the removal of companies in favour of yours. When these small independent subsidiaries make up a important element of your business. I can't imagine how the many who use your software and accounts felt when they read that. No one likes a bully, no one likes a monopoly, no one likes....need I go on.
- Suggesting you offer good rates to Europe & Int. Having a laugh.
- Seemingly using a small competitor as a smokescreen. Pathetic.
Quite why I've felt the need to explain why what's going to happen I don't know. Most other people don't even get this, and just feel the consequences straightaway. But the long and short is one more post creditcruchy and your company will be going on the avoid list, and in a new feature naughty companies will now be getting their name in print, that's their logo with this stamp over it.
Just as a general point and I couldn’t make this clear enough, of course everyone can comment away, by all means, but for anyone whose intention aren't genuine don't. It really is a bad move.0
