If your selling these at craft fairs and stuff you may need to put something on them saying whats in them and that they may have been near nuts cause if trading standards come along they may ask you to remove them :o)

Knitting for premature babies and babies that are born to soon :T
TOTAL: 4 SANDS BLANKET, 18 CROCHETED BLANKETS, 4 GOWNS, 2 SLEEPING BAG (PRIVATE REQUEST), 1 BIB, 8 BOOBS, 3 CARDIES, 9 VENTS, 3 KNITTED BLANKETS, 1 PAIR OF BOOTIES, 1 HAT,
  • I made snowman soup last christmas and used them as a feature on my pressies as gift tags! I printed out the label, and wrote the gift tag message on the other side, and tied them on. It looked ace, and everyone was really chuffed!
Instead of choc buttons/chips, I got big bags of Choc Honeycomb on offer from Julian Graves, and bashed them up a wee bit. It tasted amazing melted into the hot choc! :T

Hi there, this website might help
    http://www.essentialpackagingstore.com/projects/snowmansoup.php

I normally get my plastic cones from lakeland
    http://www.lakeland.co.uk/disposable-icing-bags/F/keyword/piping+bags/product/2664

You would need to use 2 bags per soup, put the hot chocolate in the first bag until maybe half way and then seal and cut the excess off and then pop in into a second cone and then you can add the choc chips on top followed by the mini mellows, by doing it this way it stops the powder and chips mixing together and ruining the whole look.
I'm sure some other mse's will have lots of other idea's and way's of doing it :-)

Was in Morrisons yesterday - their boxes of 12 candy canes are £1.58 but are on BOGOF:T

What is the cheapest place to get chocolate chips/Buttons?
  • Wow snowman soup looks fab! To all that sell at xmas fetes, do they sell really well? Is the profit you make worth the work you have to put in? And do you have to have some sort of license to make and sell things like this? Id love to do some for DS' xmas fete, i thought about it last year and was glad i didnt as another lady was there selling things like reindeer poo. Nobody seemed to be going to her stall though, i think the stuff was slightly overpriced. When you book your stall would they tell you if someone else would be there selling the same stuff as you? I did also worry that i wouldnt get any time to go round the fete with DS and preferred to spend my time taking him round the fete but tbh he hated it because it was far too busy for him! Thanks for any help. :)
