just been to tescos and in the toy section they were selling the chocolate coin maker refils (which is a box of small choc chips) 130g for 10p a box. Great for the snowman soups.

the ones i have seen were big about 12" tall my son bought one at the seside or a fair and it was various mallow shapes threaded on a kebab skewer and it looked like a man (wearing a bowtie i think)

Should be easy for the body but can't remember how the head was done

have just come accross this thread! if you are threading marshmallows onto skewers won't they go hard!?! Sorry! I know when I've had marshmallows out the packet they have done and as they are being peirced? I dunno! Sorry bad pad post for first one on a thread!!!

but am loving the snowman soup!!! Thinking about doing some at the numerous craft fairs I have booked- yes I wonder why I have booked about 10 before xmas LOL but do you need to supply details of whats in them, eg may contain nuts info?

i think i am becoming obsessed! The first thing i thought of when i woke up was snowman soup!

I ordered my cellophane bags from ebay last night but i have a question, is it ok to make them up yet or will the choc chips/marshamallows go stale, i suppose if the bag is sealed tightly they should be ok...shudn't they?

I was thinking the same as you nomoney! I have all my bits ready to go and am itching to make them! Do you think it would be ok to make them now? I am going to my mums on 5th Dec and thats when she will have them...

i am the same as both of you nomoney and babyfreckles, got the cone bags drinking chocolate chocolate chips marshmallows just waiting on the canes! no morrisons here been checking out tesco and asda and even B &Ms no canes yet!

Sainsbury's have candy canes in for £1 if you have one near you?

Even if you seal it really tight the marshmallows will go wrinkly by the time to use them - i would say make them up beginning of Dec at the earliest unless youre using them for craft fairs before then
