Even if you seal it really tight the marshmallows will go wrinkly by the time to use them - i would say make them up beginning of Dec at the earliest unless youre using them for craft fairs before then :)

I made these last year, even made up loads for someone off here who didn't have the time to make them herself due to having a tiny baby!

Only one of the ones I made for my kids got used and the other was stuck at the back of the cupboard til a couple of months ago ... yes the marshmallows were a little more firm but they were fine!! as was the hot choccy! oh and they weren't wrinkly either!

lol i guess it depends then if you are ok with firm marshamallows etc ;) - i just meant if you want them fresh then obviously the later you make them the better they will be :)

Asda have the large Buttons reduced from £1.75 to £1 just now, and I thought that they would be good for the top layer of Snowman Soup, in place of chocolate chips

I have only ever used cadburys. You can often pick them up quite cheap!

last year I got 4 cones out of one 99p tub but I was generous with them
