Have you seen the MSE running club thread on here? And the MSE exercise and fitness chat thread, too.
They tend to be updated rather more frequently than this thread, so you'll always have someone keeping your spirits up0 -
I just ran 5km in practice for my Race For Life on Sunday. It was hard. Then I thought about why I'm doing it, and ended up crying. This was just a practise, so what am I gonna be like at the real thing?!
I didn't wear my tutu outfit today, though...Murphy's No More Pies Club #209

You'll be great Juno - I did my race and it was all fine
A tutu would be a fab accessory though :cool:The early bird gets the worm but the second mouse gets the cheese :cool:0 -
My sister and I are both doing it, and we have a pink vest top, black leggings, pink leg warmers and a pink tutu with silver stars :eek:Murphy's No More Pies Club #209

Keep up everyone, I have to stop for a while, as I had swine flu last week (very mild, only one day with very high fever, and nothing more, my OH and me are starting to doubt it was swine flu...) and I am having laparoscopy on Friday, so I am off for a little while. However, I am keen to keep going once I am back on my feet!Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0

Well done Juno, you should be really proud of yourself.
I was happily running 30 minutes three times a week by week 7 and was happy with this as an outcome. Then I fell off the side steps of my landrover and badly bruised my ankle at the start of July. Still can't run which is really annoying. Exercise bike is ok in short bursts so hopefully keeping some fitness up with that.
I suprised myself by just how much I miss running though.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
My calves ache so much now! My sister is attempting to put the photos on Facebook later, so if that works I'll let you all see them. And if you can watch Central News tomorrow night at 6pm, I might be on that!Murphy's No More Pies Club #209

Well I have jumped on the bandwagon and downloaded the couch to 5k application for my phone and I have just completed the first session. I struggled a bit with the last couple of running sessions but I just about managed it. Please please tell me it gets easier though.0
