Yes you can add Wifi with an SD wifi card. Have used this one myself on sale on eBay (item nos 5834579783 and 5836711987) and works a treat. Obviously as it occupies the SD slot you have to take out the SD card with the maps on and slot the wifi card in.

Did a bit or research on these SD wifi cards and there are some bad ones around and some of the sellers on eBay are a bit questionable. The guy I bought mine off was excellent and I got it next day for minimal postage and his communication was very good. Asked him a couple of questions beforehand and got instant responses. Cost £31.50 plus 75p postage. Came with a useful tech support link info sheet too.

    Hope this helps.

That one is a bit cheaper but looks like it sticks out of the SD slot more than the other one.

I was thinking of ordering this system, but I was concerned that they would not suply an sd/mmc card to run the software so I phoned them. I was told although it comes with the software on discs the package does not include an MMC.

On an other note however they have a 17" tft for £117.

  • That's funny, cus I phoned them on Wednesday & I was told you get a 256mb memory card! I think it might be worth calling them again, unless someone here has already got one and can give us a the real answer

A 256 SD card came with it originally because that's what the program and maps are pre-installed on. The CD's are for back up really.
