erin isn't getting out in village now due to biatch bully children, but it's okay now darker nights coming in... she has a room full of tat she never plays with so i told her to get playing with it! karaoke machine anyone??!
priceless parenting moment was when she saw something on telly... some kinda pink plastic thing, said "oooh i'd like one of them" so i went upstairs, rummaged about a bit, and went down and gave it to her.. she was like, "where did that come from" i said "your bedroom"I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
I'll be taking an interesting phone call on Friday night.
It's OH's birthday on the 10th (week on Friday) and it is his 50th
Anyway, his sister contacted me to say her and her DH, as well as my OH's dad and stepmum wanted to come down here from where they live in the north and (somehow) I get him to a restaurant for a surprise birthday meal the following day.
OH's son was willing to come over from Uni and get him to the restaurant by pretending he was taking him out for a birthday drink, but then I realised Saturday is an England qualifier in the afternoon, so there is no way anyone would get him from wherever he watched it to a restaurant, and also for him to be sober.
So, we decided to move it to this Saturday - but Man Utd are playing at 5.30 so there is every chance he'd go to the club and watch it - not good when we are all sitting in a restaurant at 7.30 hoping his son can get him to leave and get him there without him realising why!
So, his sister is going to phone here Friday (surprise enough for him - he doesn't know she has my number) and tell him they are coming down the next day for a meal.
Could lead to an interesting evening after the phone call...........I've never met his Dad, or his step mum..............or his daughter who is 16 who has apparently said she will come along who OH only sees around once a year......"Stay Wonky":D

best thing my kids had was a cardboard box. I kid you not, they turned it into a go kart kind of thing and played with it for hours!Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

I had Sindy dolls - my granddad also built me a Sindy House and all the furniture for it (I thinkonly the bathroom stuff was plastic). It was a beautiful black and white fronted Georgian townhouse with a roof top garden and everything and was taller than me when I first got it:rotfl:26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073
