Well that's enough excitement for one evening. Couple of neds behind me sharing beers decided to go off on one. I am covered in Tenants (not even good beer to be fighting over) and my heart is thumping. Just glad Hubbles isn't here otherwise there may have been two unconcsious neds as he's pretty over protective just now...
Oh my god, Luc :grouphug: little !!!!!, bet they think they're so clever  you okay?

I seem to be more tired after a day at work than I should be. No energy whatsoever, am already looking forward to bed time. Might be something to do with the smoke alarm battery dying in the night and beeping every five minutes  DS falling out of bed, and nearly twice more again  Think we need a _snore_ smilie....
  • Cheers guys, am all over the place now (just closed my browser by mistake and everything)

Those bags could be one step closer...... lol

YOu just need to persevere with it. My diary is mostly my ramblings but it helps me get my head straight about things - even when its all guff. I do it mostly for me although it is lovely when folks pop by to add their views. I use the daily chat for regular interaction ... No one gets the chance to get to know you better and enjoy your diary if you don't give it a go...

Just a little shaken - especially when one threw the other over the table next to me and started laying into him:eek: . They got off at the next stop though and are probably best mates again already... I mean honestly they were arguing because one of them said 'where's my beer' (they had a case of tinnies) and the other didn't like to feel he was excluded from beer rights:confused:

Sorry to hear you're feeling so drained DD, although it sounds like there are a couple of external factors today;)

More exciting news!! I went for a job interview this morning (kept it quiet) and just got offered it!!!!

Now I don't know what to do - argh. I sort of really want it but then don't know if I do. Oh I am an idiot about these things.

Why did you go for it in the first place? There must have been something that prompted you to invest your time in the application and interview?

This is starting to sound like my mantra and answer to everything - make a list:p setting out pros and cons

Honey I didn't get this from what you said before (sorry to me NEDs are non exec directors) and I thought you had seen them in the pub being drunken idiots (some can be a little rowdy but... ).

I am so sorry, I didn't realise or I would have been a bit more sympathetic instead of just banging on about me.

  • Is 'ned' an exclusively Scottish word? I've only ever heard it in Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Well the job always sounded really exciting but I wasn't sure about the location, turns out it is easy to get to, a bit rough but Ok. The guys that interviewed me were lovely and I really feel like I can work with them.

I had a masterplan that involved a new job in March. But then I got headhunted, sent in my out of date CV and things sort of moved on from there without me having to make much effort.

Mind you it would take at least 6 months off my DFD if I took it.
