I trust all these amounts still allow you to enjoy things along the way, which I am sure they do?

I'm not a very 'thing' type person Stuart, in that I'm not material. I love to go on holiday though, and also go away for weekends in the UK. We were away for a week in Jan, have 5 trips to Spain, have had 1 weekend in the UK & another planned. Fun will be had :D, but with one eye on the budget, even whilst on holiday ;).

Speaking of which, 38 days from now will be sitting on balcony with a glass of vino mouse_drinking_wine_ty_clr.gif

Well done on doing all though calculations gally! Isn't it lovely that the computer says YES :D

As opposed to my work PC which spent most of the day saying....

nothing at all, must have been rebooted about 5 times, evil thing PCevil.gif. Along with its wicked friend, the printer which eats files and does not spit them out as requested pc04.gifAs you can see, have had better days at work

And can someone please tell me how to change the title of this thread please

OK, good start to the day:
    - spent an hour sorting out banking & have done tax return on line. £131 rebate due :T. If this is anything like previous years I'll have it by the end of the week :j:)
    - also sorted out mortgage accounts. Hmmm. Got confused over NW CC and moved money from offset to pay it, however the bill for 1st May is 0 and the big bill of £1400 , which includes a 1k Spanish tax bill, is not due to 1st June. Have transferred the money back to offset but it will take a few days. Silly me :(
    - have also transferred around £480 in total from 2 other accounts :)
    - these had all better hit the offset by 1st May or we will owe more at start of May than we did in April :(
    - tenant for mum's house dropped out & haven't managed to get another. Will be in the paper again next week for less money :(
    - because of this I have had to cancel my normal £200 OP this month :(

    :( 4
    :) 2

Hmmm, not good . I know:

    - it's the weekend :)
    - if not sunny, at least it's not raining :)
    - less than 5 weeks till next trip to Spain :)

    :( 4
    :) 5, that's better ;)

Hehe, I was just thinking it was time you changed the title of your thread - here's how you do it but I can't take any of the credit as I remembered asking how to do it in my own thread and Financial Bliss came to the rescue and it worked first time so big cheer :Tfor FB as you and SMF2 can now both do it:-

"log in" - doing this gives you an "edit" button for posts you own.

You now want to locate and edit your first post. If it's defaulted to "simple" editing, click to go advanced and in doing so, this exposes the thread title, which you can then alter and save...

Happy changing and I look forward to seeing whatever replaces your '92 months' :D

That doesn't work :(. I thought that was how I had done it before, they must have done something when they changed the board the other week. The only option is to change the title of the post, not the thread :(

For what it's worth, 'only' 88 months now :j

Yikes, been a bit busy .

Done quite a few mystery shops :)
    15 booked, including 5 tomorrow :)
Got a tenant for mum's house, lovely lady, paid up front. Comes from v near where mum's from so she would be pleased :)
Just in time, as no money left in mum's account to pay more bills :(
    Overdraft cleared :)
£210 to mortgage and some money to little angels :)
Going for spa night with OH on Sunday :). (I do hope he enjoys the back, **ck & ***ck wax I have booked for him :rotfl:)
A few enquiries for rental in Spain but no bookings :(
Just sold something on ebay for +£30 :)
Cashed in points on 2 survey sites for £15 paypal and £10 M&S voucher. :)

    The :)'s have it :T

Have been having a serious look at my finances over last day or two. I've struggled to pay the additional £280 to repay the money I borrowed (or 'stole' as OH puts it :D) for the car from the offset. From £415 rent from mum's I will give DS & DD £70 each, put £65 into savings for repairs etc and keep £210. I'm keeping most of that :o.

I'm planning on paying another £70 a month to offset, that means I'll be paying £280 for car, plus £270, plus another £100 which is a standing order anyway, plus £200 I pay to DS each month but which will go to the mortgage June - Sept. Plus normal mortgage payment of £210. So, between June & Sept from my wages of £2120 and net rental income of £210 I'll be paying £1060 a month, 45.49% of income*. **:eek:Plus all mystery shopping income etc.

*Isn't this above the % level you are supposed to go to CAB for advice :rotfl:.

    ** hmmm, only £105 to hit 50%.......

    have a good weekend all

    gg x

Edit: just snowballed mortgages. Hmmm, according to that if we carry on with only £200 a month OP's all mortgages will be paid off by May 17. With £500 on top of that, which is less than we are paying, it will be paid off by June 15. My target is end of Aug 16 :j:j:j:j:j:j. I realise this date will fall back as interest rates rise, but even so, WOW :T
