Warning to all you money savers out there..
I purchased two CDs on pre-release with CD Wow for £7.99 each.
The release date came and went with no CD
I contacted them and they state they have no record of my order but the money has been taken out of my bank account.
I requested my money back every day for the last 2 weeks but they ignore my emails.
I employed a solicitor who says I am due a refund but they refuse, saying they have send out the order.
They are even now ignoring my solicitor.
BIG WARNING - They have no address or phone number, you cannot contact them by phone, just email. If they choose to ignore your emails there is no redress.
Effectively I have lost £15.98 as they won't reply to me.
Also,
The pre release price was £1 more expensive than the web page price after release!!
Plus the same CD was £2 cheaper in Tesco..
Warning if it goes wrong they ignore you and haven't put it right!!!
I have read much over the internet about their recent court case and fears of bankruptcy. In this current climate and after my loss of order/money I won't be using them again.

No, unfortunately I paid by switch.
This problem with these people doesn't appear to be an isolated case, many comments on other forums from customers left out of pocket. :-(0 -

They are totally ignoring me, every time I send a mail through the web site they act dumb like they don't know what I'm talking about. When I reply and tell them the problem I hear no more.

Just out of interest, have you queried this further?
If they have no record of your order, why would they send it out?
Is it possible they have sent it out subsequently, after 'finding' the order, and you have not recieved it?
I must admit I have had problems in the past with them, but ended up getting a refund, and then they still sent me the item, so can't moan too much...
Have you tried the order tracking on their page? My order shows up on there, even though it was cancelled.0
