Cd Wow Warning! Cdwow

I've ordered CDs from CD-Wow maybe two or three times in the past and they turned up. It wasn't particularly quick delivery, possibly because they'd been sent from Hong Kong!

Surely noone in their right mind would 'employ' a solicitor to deal with a case for £14.98.....

same story.... ordered on 7th Dec, dispatached on the 9th, 7-10 days later.. noooo order!!!! never had issues before although it has been some time since I used them, and this will be the last! Christmas presents that I now have to go and buy again as they havent the deceny to contact customers with updates or even reply to any of my 3 emails!
seriously irritated at this stage! I am interested in hearing on how you got on with the solicitor though?? I know some people here are taking the mickey about employing a solicitor for 2 cds but its about time someone taught these cowboys a lesson!!

I am in the same situation, ordered 4 cds on the 7th December - despatched on the 9th still not here. I also emailed two days ago and I am still waiting on customer services contacting me. No payment seems to be taken from my credit card yet.

Postman has been and still no cd. (Ordered from CD Wow on 24th November!)

Further to my post in Dec '09 - I eventually received my CD - though a good month late. They weren't too bad on the email communication (nor very good either), and before I received the CD I asked for my Nectar points back, which they honoured. When I received the CD I never bothered going back to them because to be quite frank, it was never going to be 10 day delivery considering the items are shipped from Hong Kong (I think that's where it came from anyway). Plus I had to email them several times and they don't have a decent customer services department. So free CD in the end. Used the points I got back to get Amazon vouchers. Happy me :-)

Ordered off them a few times, and never had a problem, and the prices were cheap.

im quite shocked at this, i havent used cd wow for a while now but i used to use it alot and i never had any problems apart from one dvd being out of stock and they offered to post it out as soon as they had it or refund and i got a refund straight away
just thought id put my experience in as this thread was created over 2 years ago and things may have improved since then but i personally never had any problems buying from cd wow
