All the travel agencies will take unwanted currency for charity-they change it up in bulk (including coins) and then donate it....but yes I was waiting for the punchline too !!I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

I entered a triathlon in the US, and had to send my entry fee in cash. I used the post office to get my $15 entry fee no problem.0 -

Yep no problems at all. The 'commission' is in the exchange rate spread.0 -
I know the Post Office would change pounds into dollars, I'm just not sure about the other direction.
Will try at lunchtime. If that fails I'll try the charity suggestions.
