Yup, sounds like it'll tie in nicely. Lovely stuff. You say do hte downstairs, is the downstairs not done now? I'm right in saying you guys live there don't you as remember your children getting new beds etc!

MG ZR, they are pretty hot hatchy aren't they. I'd love another mk1 golf gti or the like. When I sold my last golf gti, I did so with a promise to my wife that it'd help fund the house but when we come into money in the future we can get one of these, a 964 Turbo. She agreed...... yummmmmm..... one day!

    Porsche_964_Turbo.jpg

thats nice..... I like the golfs too, my mate owns a R32 and its awesome car, a golf shouldnt travel that fast! MG is a nice car, very basic but i didnt want lots going wrong with it (electrics etc) they are quick but want something with a bit more refinement (is there such a thing in the same sentence hot hatch/refinement)

I'd quite like a focus st or a astra vxr, although perhaps one day I would get to own a mercedes SL AMG or even a 4.0 M3 convertable! (i'll keep on dreaming, there always be something for the house).

We have basically done the lounge, playroom, garden and now the kitchen. We done our three daughters rooms when we moved in so they could feel comfortable so there done. But the old kitchen will ahve to be removed and we are going to turn it into a dinning room but I want french doors installed or even some sliding doors think they would go well with the glass extension.... money money money!

Triumph sounds great LC! Keep the wife on side ;)

Stolt, refinement and hot hatch. YOu mentioned in the previous sentence, the R32 is pretty refined, leather recaros, pretty sensible suspension etc adn a 3.2V6!

ahhh, children, the money pits! Talk has just started with Lowri and I about this. Her best friends just told her she's 12 weeks pregnant! Oh dear! We have other priorities such as some travelling to do before hand but I don't think it will be too long!

Cheers Spirit, just picked that image up off google images, good old Germany :)

one last image to whet my appetite!

yeah i'd happily take a r32 at this stage in time.... really liked the VXR8 looks beautiful and then i realised its packing a 6 litre engine!!! that would be thirsty trip into work (great fun though).
i was going to say i better crack on with work but there sorting out the fantasy football so better get a team submitted for that!!

Kids!! great, just me and the missus had spent a bit of time together before deciding on our three! love them to bits but when they come along you really dont get time together, I dont know how some of you do it a refurb with kids, with my house its pretty basic stuff indoors nothing too major but a full refurb would be hard with kids, probably due to the lack of time more than the money! We havent travelled and my bro in law just got married two weeks ago, and they have been to thailand and japan and it sound like they are really enjoying themselves plus it creates memories for the future> Me and my missus cracked right on with the house and baby front, i enjoyed myself dont get me wrong:rotfl:

haha. Fantasy football fever in our office right now too but ICT have managed to edit the FF page to all dark so you can't see it! Terrible news!

I know what you mean, been married nearly 2 years now but we are both only 26. I think a couple of years will be OK! :)

On another note, the house that backs onto ours is on the market for £50k more than we paid for ours this time last year and we haven't even put £10k into our house. Relatively tempting to just move on up already!

Audi S3 should fit the bill. It has the edge over VW upon cabin quality otherwise a similar platform and they share many components. It's not going to out perform all the jap specced cars in terms of performance, but it's a different ride and market.

I'm also a fan of cars - German in particular. The porka's on here are very nice :T :j

Before I get shot down for differing the thread towards motors, here's the latest on my rennovation for anyone that's interested.

    Cheers
