Hope you get on Ok at the doctors Hypno.
Have just caught up on last 6 pages that have happened whilst I've been bombing round the country looking at Univeristies with DD. Have looked at 6 (3 in the last 3 days!!) and have a short list of 5 which is the amount she is allowed to apply to.
Am trying to stay positive about things and am going back to teaching on Saturday - we'll see how my voice lasts then !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Have a good one everyone0 -
Surfbabe, don't try and do too much too soon otherwise your voice may be gone for longer than you expect. Remember that driving round looking at uni's is tiring, and this will have an effect on your recovery.....Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. Hope you get it sorted at the doctors Hypno, not very pleasant when you have to go through the day in so much pain.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Hi Hyno..hope it went ok at the Drs today and that you manage to get some sleep tonight x0

Well, a long and crappy day. Have been to the GP and have got a veritable cocktail of drugs to see me though - will give them chance to work before I do anything else.
Went to a dull seminar, telling me nothing I don't already know about the effects of the credit crunch.
Then got home to find we have lost one of our kittens, he was hit by a car this evening. So the children are distraught, understandably, and so I think we are in for a long night of it.
Catch up tomorrow xSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

So sorry to hear about the kitten..that's awful.
Hope the tablets work for you ..what did the Dr say it was?0 -
basically it has all siezed up - so I have diclofenec, codeine phosphate and diazepam.....I see myself floating through the next few days.
Hopefully that will be enough to release it, and then we can see where we are with it then.
But the GP says that I can continue running, so that was one bit of good news.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0
