Have hit that brick wall again tonight - just got in, having gone straight from work to the kids karate lesson, then dashed round tesco - no energy for a run tonight.

I got a last minute "lunch" mystery shop today, so just had to input that because they keep ringing me every 5 mins to see if I can input it - do they not realise how busy I am!!

Also my neck/shoulder is hurting today - I have made an appointment to the doctor tomorrow evening, inbetween work and a seminar.........when what I could really do with is a fortnight in the Maldives.........

bah! An early night needed I think - just need to resist the halloween stash of chocs that I bought today.........

Hi Hypno - looks to me like you've been on the go for 14 hours straight, more or less.... I think an early night is definitely indicated! Sleep well.

yes, in the absence of a free ticket to the Maldives, an early night will have to do.

Well and early night did nothing to benefit me - couldn't sleep so have given up and put the kettle on

I feel a long day ahead!

Hope you all have a good one!

  • Morning hypno - do you not have any hypno/relaxation techniques you can use on yourself?

Anyway, if you're up you may as well make us a cuppa :)

    Tea or coffee GTD.......?

It is this bloomin pain in my neck being, literally, a pain in the neck, that is keeping me awake. Painkillers aren't helping, and I just couldn't get comfortable. I am seeing a doctor about it tonight so hopefully can make some progress.

Running helps, bizarrely, but if I haven't had any sleep, I don't have any energy to run!

You're up and about early too - is this "normal" (note the word is in inverted commas, because I am not really sure what "normal" is anymore!)?
