    That sounds interesting!

And Shaun - you're a secret techie, aren't you! Never thought of looking at the buttons to see which one DT was pressing :o story of my life. I thought I had the plot, but hadn't really. Big oops.

Anyway, Hypno, I do like the sound of that £100, I'll be off there in the next few days. And I love the sound of a m/s firm ringing you up and saying please! Wonderful stuff.

I wish I had found this sooner, I am now starting to look at ways to make extra like surveys, and looking forward to 2009 _party_

Welcome aboard! It is always really nice to see new people joining in! If you get half the help and support from these boards that I get, you will be doing fabulously!

Dragon - no outcome to Egg yet - currently waiting for their complaints procedure to do its thang.....

DT, I really should start doing the payment a day thing - might keep me away from bags of minstrels if I put the 44p they cost me towards something else (no I don't have minstrels every day, but I am very much tempted by them!).

Seaxwyn, I will be sure to let you know if and when I get referral codes through!

I have 2 "extras" sleeping over tonight - my friend is going Christmas shopping in London and at the Country Living Fair (obviously not in need of DFW!) and so I am having her girls overnight - I hope they all behave as they have school tomorrow......but it did mean one thing...

DD HAS TIDIED HER ROOM  :D :T

Endless bin bags were brought downstairs and put outside - I didn't investigate the contents, just let her get on with it! and she even hoovered up - I almost fainted when she came and asked for the hoover!

So, my three days next week that I have for housework no longer have to include an extra skip for DDs room. And if the rest of the house looks as good by this time next week I will be a happy bunny.

She kept saying that it made her "all smiley" to have a tidy room.......perhaps I can convince her that by helping Mum tidy the rest of the house, Mum will be "all smiley" too!

  • Love the smiley feeling Hypno my DD has to tidy her room tonight as she has to move out once a month to allow our respite foster child to move in for the weekend. She has admitted to the Social Worker that it is a good thing. She is so untidy I tried everything nagging, threatening, cajoling, putting her things in bin bags, in the end I carried out my threat and moved her into a smaller bedroom she was horrified at first but now likes it. At least there is less cubic space for her to fill. I will tell her about the smiley feeling I am sure she will relate:rolleyes:

My DD is in such a small room as it is that the next step would have to be in the cupboard under the stairs!

Our student lodger has the spare room which is a double - DD has made no secret of the fact that she wants that room, but until she pays me the same rate that the student does, she stays in her cubby hole
