Welcome back jelly babies! TBH I have no idea how I do it....I just do!
Right now I am so looking forward to my days off next week even if it is simply so that I can tidy up! Having those 2 extras in here this evening have made me feel even more "cluttered" than usual, if that is possible! They have now gone to bed, but this evening I have even lost my laptop to MSN for a 10 year old........I think I may have lost my sanity too somewhere along the way, and heaven help them if they chatter their way through the next couple of hours! I am doing my friend a favour while she goes off and has a lovely time doing lovely things I can't afford to do, and yet it has cost me in extra food, packed lunches for tomorrow, pizza for dinner tonight etc. Bah!
And OH rings me and asks why I am snappy
It is times like this when I just want to finally sit in an ordered room, with space and calm, candles alight on the hearth, and a large glass of red wine.
The reality is trying to clear a space to sit on the sofa, with nothing more exciting than a glass of water because I am taking these pills for my neck, and I have run out of squash!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Hi Hypno - Just wanted to say well done on the debt busting and the running - I cant wait to see your total fall below £40K - i remember reading ages back when you 'revealed' the full extent of your debts including the ones you hadn't been counting, it seems like such a long time ago, but really it isn't is it - you've done so well - I think there will be a massive DFW party the date you become Debt Free!
Hope the neck gets better soon

do you mean that the housework fairy will visit while I am asleep
MissO - thank you - yes it is almost a year since I revealed the scary number - I was thinking that soon I will have to start my next challenge as the last one started on 1st December.
If I can pay off the same amount next year as I have done this year, then we will be down to about £15k of debt - In fact, If I clear everything bar the secured loan by the end of next year, I will be down to about £11k which will be awesome!
Then I can start looking at housesSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

TFI Friday :j Last day at work before "operation super-blitz" takes place, and one week until payday.....
Hopefully I will go for a run this evening - 4 or 5 miles depending on how much energy I have!
GTD, If I knew that I could get a decent sized mortgage at a good rate, I would get my house on the market now, clear the debts, and buy something soon - there are some really good bargains coming along. Sadly, I don't think that lenders would give me the multiple of income that I would need to buy the place that I want.
But this time next year.....the debt will be much lower, and hopefully there will be a lot more choices, mortgage wise, etc etc etc. It keeps me going!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground.
