Gawd Egg are dumb, no wonder you were mad.

What irritates me is when they talk complete shiite on the phone, and don't even get embarrassed when they're exposed.

I don't think they even realised that what they were saying was completely contradicting themselves - I just don't think they are that intelligent.

Needless to say, I came home to a letter from Egg.....so I have had texts, emails, phone calls and a letter. All a complete load of bollox.

No running tonight - too tired. All Egged out.

What a horror story - especially all those methods of communication, and *all* of them being idiots.

I have just fired off my formal complaint to them.

  • Good for you, i hope they respond properly..what about doing a *Debitas* and charging them for your time and an appropriate fee for the letter.

If it is not resolved early on, then I think I will do just that - after all, it is not the first time they have messed up.

First they sent my account to capquest, when I had not so much as been late with a payment - I had to deal with those delightful people for almost a year before it got sorted. Then they sent it again to capquest in error. Thankfully, that time, capquest knew it was not likely to be right, so they actually rang me themselves and said "we think Egg have made a mistake again"!!

Then earlier this year they put on my credit file that I am on a DMP........I never have been, and I hope I never will be. They obviously just got bored one day and thought they could have a bit of a laugh with my credit file. Thank goodness I check creditexpert regularly.

Now this - I am trying really hard not to get any black marks on my credit file, throw every penny at the debt to get rid of it as quickly as possible, and they think they have the right just to do what the heck they like.

It is not on, and the mad woman with a penchant for coffee and cake is ready for a fight.....:D

your story about Egg just reminds me how lucky i was not to get any sort of account with them. I hope that the not only sort it out your account but also give you some compensation for your time, stress etc that they have taken up/caused you

OK, new day, hopefully better than yesterday!

It has started off well - a DVD has sold on Amazon which will net me a fiver after costs etc (or thereabouts) so that's good.

I have a mystery shop to do at lunchtime and have picked up another couple of visits to do over the next month or so. I think I have a meeting for the download site this evening, so another long day, and no time for a run - I will have to make sure I fit that in tomorrow.

Hope you have a good day x
