    Hi Hypno

I have been gradually catching up with your diary in spare moments (what are they? ) over the last few days and I just wanted to say how sorry I was to hear about your poor little kitty cat. We lost one of our cats on Christmas Eve last year - very upsetting.

OK, get this. My egg loan payment is £422 and due on the 1st of the month or the next working day - fairly standard stuff. I pay by direct debit so egg have control of the payments.

Looking on online banking, the payment came out as usual on 3rd November, being the first working day after 1st which was a weekend.

    first he says:

"you didn't make a payment to your egg loan, we took a payment for your egg card" - ok, so that is the card that has a nil balance on then

    Then he says :

"No payment has been made on your loan account for some time" - ok, so what are the monthly payments I have been making by direct debits, and what about the almost daily overpayments I have been making throughout October and already in November  And if "some time" means 24 hours, then yes I suppose that is the case.......

    Next we have:

"You informed us of the change in bank account so we are awaiting the new direct debit mandate before we can collect any money" - ahem, the fact that the payment you took on 3rd November was from the new account should tell you something.........

    Then it was:

"when you make a direct debit payment, it takes 4 days to clear, so you are in arrears for those 4 days" - so that would mean every single month, I should be showing as being in arrears for 4 days.....strange how I never get rude correspondence saying I am in arrears from them each month

    Wuckfit of the wankiest order.....

  • Creeps in among the EGG nightmare.... Hypno there is a competition to win £200 of skiwear at TK Maxx. You need to send pics on or off piste (hence me not bothering to enter!) and 4 winners will win £200 of the skiwear and overall winner wins a sony camera. I thought it might be worth your while seen as I am sure you have some amazing pics of the kids skiing?

The comp is on the home page of the Mail online, scroll to the very bottom of the page its on the right hand side.

Hope you get the fools sorted at Egg as if you haven't got better things to do with your time!!!!
