Hi all, well haven't got much done today, it's been a bit of a busy one.

I did manage get my car MOT'd which is great. Just need to tax it then sell it.

Love it but it's got to go.

Chilly tonight and it says it's going to throw it down tomorrow, deep joy, so it's washing on the radiators time (again).;)

Well thankfully Monday is done and so am I, hope everyone has had a productive day.x

And I've emailed someone to arrange for my chimney to be inspected for an intermittent leak (and hopefully fixed), the old gas flue removed, the boiler exhaust guard to be fixed and the water outlet lagged, kitchen to be tiled, cold water tank to be raised, utility to be gutted, wall partially removed, floor relaid, walls & ceiling lined and insulated, electrics & plumbing resited, white goods reinstalled and new kitchen units installed... Now I just have to order the floortiles, worksurface and sink and make my mind up about the units... Problem is, once I have a date, the garage will need clearing out before I can pack up the utility room... and I won't be able to do any washing for a week or two!!!

And they wonder how the banks got people into trouble!!!

Thats some amount of work you have planned there Greenbee - are you taking time off for it?? Sounds as if you will have a lovely new kitchen when finished.

Thanks greenbee - that's one of the webpages i've been looking at. It seems a really good way to do it without the lead. I'm sure the neighbours are starting to wonder about me as I walk round the garden saying 'wee wees'!!!

Vali - you should have said I wasn't boring you....have I told you she'd not had an accident in the house all day. She's such a clever, special spotty dog:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: xx

So I know I was going to watch H&A, but I didn't. I cleaned the kitchen instead. DF is upset with me coz I mixed up some dates for DD's. They haven't come off yet (not until the first) but he says I never told him earlier in the month:rolleyes: Oh well, but now Im too scared to do the ironing coz if I do it in the lounge I may get in his way but if I do it elsewhere then DS will stay with him (goes to bed lately about 21:30) and then he'll moan at me coz "Im doing what I want to and when does he get to do what he wants to".
Rant over. Think IM going to see if I can get DS to come for a snuggle.

Toots - Sarahshattered has good advice there - if you've been before they might 'bump' you up? When I was under the rheumatologist (ooh err missus) they kept me on the list with a once a year appointment in case of emergencies. Trouble is I (and others I have found out) are somewhat stressed and if I get stressed I could flare up - think that might be why I felt so rough at the weekend...left hand and hip are letting me know they are there - just a slight grumble but nevertheless was enough to make me reach for the ibuprofen. Thank goodnes I am only part time...I am dog tired right now though.
Thanks Sarah and Valli - I know you are right and have done that with other appts but I havent been to respiratory guy before so will have to wait until he gets my history - I am to be referred to him first I think in conjunction with the sleep apnoea people to see if there is anything wrong with my lungs/ breathing that might have been missed and therfore affecting the benefits of the CPAP!

What were you at rheumatology for Valli? I may have missed that!!! I have an open appointment with my Rheumatologist - that was before they found the myasthenia - they were treating me for lupus.

But not tired of doggy tales Mudbath - bore away - your posts are making me smile...
Ditto from me too Mudbath - still waiting for photo too!!!!

    Hi

    Well i've had an eventful afternoon:rolleyes: .

I went to pick Ds2 up from nursery and was driving along the main road when i spotted Ds1:confused: , i pulled over into the bus bay to ask him why he wasnt waiting for his lift. He said my SD was being mean to him so he decided to walk home:mad: . It's at least a mile and a half along a really busy road and he's only just started yr 7. I got him in the car and went to start it and it was completely dead:eek: . This was 3.25pm and i had to pick up Ds2 in 5 mins and i was half a mile away. So, i phoned OH to tell him he'd have to go and pick up Ds2 and come and rescue me. I was sat in that bus bay for 40 mins with my hazards on and not one person stopped to see if i was ok. Anyway OH came and towed me to the garage where the bloke there opened the bonnet and hit something with a hammer and it started:j he said the starter motor had come away from where it should be.

    Apart from that i have

    Put BM on
Got dry washing in & folded
    Put load on airer
    Wm x 1
    Wiped highchair
    Tidied & Hoovered living room x 2
    Posted rent cheque for Toddlers
    Posted competition entries
    Sorted my voucher folder
Menu planned for the next wk
    Written my shopping list
    Done an hrs ironing
Minging Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    [STRIKE]Sweep and mop floors

Flitting in just to catch up on the thread. I'll be home tomorrow as the car is in the garage for a service, so I can do the kitchen and livingroom then!
