I got rid of my Escort to get this heap of junk:rolleyes: . It was a great car never gave me any trouble apart from always failing the MOT and costing a fortune in repairs:rolleyes: Oh and the lock which broke and the key that got stuck in the ignition. But over all a lot less hassle than this one has been.0

Juliejim, Craftyscholar - Thanks for the good wishes
. I've been working from home today and checked through each and every file to make sure all my paperwork is spot on! :T It is! Apart from a couple of gaps, which I know the candidates have the paperwork for, so I can just photograph theirs and upload it to my electronic files. It makes you neurotic. Would you believe this is the third training company I've worked for where there were dodgy practices? Oh well, I've put tow application forms in today, both at the same place, but different jobs. Fingers crossed.
Valli - why do I need to keep Hex on side?
Gunsandbanjos - hope you're feeling much better

Anyway - Flying -
All dailies done.
DD's room cleaned.
Oven cleaned - again!
Loads of washing (but no ironing yet:o).
Sorted all my paperwork (ulterior motive there!:D)
Also managed to do a batch of shortbread and a bread pudding to go in the oven with dinner.
And I've done my A & P homework! Just need to give DS a massage and that's some of my HM homework done too!
Anybody on here got RLS?
Who mentioned Stirling? That's somewhere else I used to live! On the Riverside, and I worked in Boots. And Edinburgh -Ashbrook House on Ferry Road, Leith (Great Aunt Daisy lived in Morningside)
Sorry, looking back through thread and talk of tampons etc, reminds me of a card I saw with 2 cartoon girls on the front. One had a tampon behind her ear. Her mate says "Why have you got a tampon behind your ear?" And the other says "B****y H**l! Where have I put my fag?"
Follyfoot - Christian Rodska - Down in the meadow where the wind blows free, in the middle of a field stands the lightning tree. I remember it well.
The Doubledeckers - Peter Firth (now appearing in Spooks) Get on board, get on board, get on board with the Doubledeckers, take a ticket for a journey on a doubledecker London bus. Evening all!
Just popped in to catch up with this evening's posts - can't do them all - you ladies really do chat! Love all the community spirit though and am beginning to work out eveyone's characters - really interesting - and great for me as I don't get out much to meet people face to face!
Haven't flown much today - took mum out to Boots to process some photos after work - discovered she had a money off voucher but forgot t tell me it ran out yesterday - we could have gone last week if she had said! But she did give me lunch - roast beef - yum! So by the time I got in and got the kids home it was time for their tea - I was still stuffed!! and then Brownies and gym for me - hooray! DS is now old enough to stay on his own for an hour or so. Managed to clean the hob, and the table, shine the sink and clean the floor - so not too bad and had to clean surfaces after cooking yesterday so not too bad all in all. Will do some more later in the week if it needs it. DD even got a cloth to clean up the footprints on the tiles when she came in after Brownies as it had been raining! They are great with their MACAWS and I managed to do mine yesterday and today!
Well must do the packups and get off to bed soon - work is tough at the moment and I need my sleep!
night night all I'm sure lots of you will be on here for a while but I'm not an owl!Sealed Pot 617 - target £150 only managed £27 in 2009!0 -
Actually I have NO CLUE what they would have cost...but when I was a kid those who wanted to could go to the shop and buy 1 fag!
Now even I am not old enough to buy 'em....:rotfl:
Can I have a gin in my tonic then please?
Pink afaik she works in HR...

Nite Toots.
Oh and I forgot to add that sometimes she locks me out, or in, depending on her mood. Have been known to have to climb in through the boot and drive home with the alarm blaring away.:rolleyes:0 -
