Morning all
Yucky and wet here but it doesn't feel as cold. Slept badly due to my back ache - poor DH work me up at 1:30 and said are you ok as you are constantly rolling over from side to side - I couldn't get comfy so he got me some parrots and ibus and I eventually went back to sleep.
Serena I'm not coping with the change in weather, my body is still waiting for summer to come.
Fire lasted much better last night with just 6 chunks of coal in it so whilst the wood is free the coal means we burn much less.
MOAM - glad you did well too. I'm going to put 3 of my left items on ebay and the rest is back in it's box in the loft until the spring sale or if the school do toy tables.
Kaz - hi hun, I know lunch was expensive but money well spent to reminish about the good times

:hello:Morning everyone,
Ouch!! I hope your DH arm is ok juliejim.
Hope W is a bit better this morning AnW
Awww poor you SS. You've had this a while now. Gets you down doesn't it.
I'd been fine and missed all the coughs and colds DH and the kids had last year. Till New Years Eve. We'd planned to go out, could take the kids as well and I was really looking forward to it. That afternoon I suddenly came over all hot/cold/tired/achy and felt awful. I ended up with the worst viral infection I've ever had I think. I was ill for 4 weeks. Spent 2 of them in bed. Which really isn't like me. No one else got it. Just meHope your on the mend soon. Till then make the most of it and take it easy;)
DS has a stinker of a cold. But bless him. He's got up to do his paper round. Which on a Sunday is awful. The papers are so heavy that he has to do it in 2 hits.Plus it's tipping down here as well. How rare.:rolleyes: Think DD is coming down with thw cold as well. Had a few sniffles this morning:rolleyes:
I am going to spend today sorting out me starting to sell on ebay. Which should be lots of fun cos I don't have a clue what I'm doing:rolleyes: I really would appreciate some help from any ebaying flyladies should I have any problems:D
Right, I suppose I ought to do something constructive now. Coffee it is then:D0 -
Dustykitten Morning hun :wave:
Thanks for the reminder (not a direct reminder, but it has served as such) for DD1 & 2 to do their homework.....
~~~~~~wanders of to find whip to crack~~~~~~:D:D:D
Morning all :wave:
W seems a lot better today, he is tucking into breakfast of waffles with choc sauce on! He is right ole wrigglepot though, slept in our bed last night 'want to sleep on mummy's side' and then proceeded to wriggle all night I swear!!!
It's p*ssing down here as well this morning, heard it a lot during the night as well. The only absolute essentials today are homework for them both. Would like to nip to Matalan and Brantano at some point, got vouchers for both and could do with trousers for A & W as they keep growing and some cheap trainers for me as I have got trainer flap :rotfl:
I always smile at that phrase as DH coined it. He would put his head to one side, give me his cute grin and say 'can I have some new trainers coz these have got trainer flap'
Hope everyone else is well this morning, and that your DH has nothing seriously wrong with his arm JulieOfficial Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -
Hi (she says quietly peering round the door)
I've not posted for ages, i can't seem to get my act together now we're all back in work/school. I sometimes manage my dailies, but often i just play catch up all week. I have to spend all day Saturday clearing the mess created during the week & i'm constantly shattered cos dd2 is still waking a couple of times a night (not for long but it still means i'm up). My ironing pile is huge & our bedroom is a bombsite with clothes / the moses basket (dd2 now in cot) / hangers / junk scattered all over the place. I have loads of stuff to freecycle & ebay which is also taking up space but i never seem to have time to do it. It was so much easier when i was on maternity cos i could do stuff when dd2 napped but now :rolleyes: is just a nightmare.
Help .... please .... it's really starting to get to me
Sorry for the moan & hugs to all
Morning all.
Hugs to little w - hope you're feeling a bit better today. Big hugs to your mum too xx
Pigpen - brilliant that hazel is back to mischief - you can't keep a naughty kitten down!
Denisefowler - I loved the piccies of your dogs, they're lovely. I'm trying not to think how big our new one will grow. She's making chewbacca noises in her basket as I type.
Hugs to everyone else. DH is currently cleaning the kitchen as he made a steak pie last night for our Sunday dinner today, you can't beat one of his steak pies but we normally only have it for New Year (I think that's a Scottish tradition?). Anyway, at least he's clearing up after himself.
I'm off to do some washing, some cleaning, some flying and then to get some glucosamine (sp?) for our older dog. Her legs are stiffening up again.
Hope you all have a lovely, if wet, Sunday. Our back garden is completely under water....luckily it's about two feet lower than the house!
