    DB Quote.
What I wrote was insensitive, rude, unjustified and unfounded. I retracted it and apologised. I'm not sure what more I can do.

I take that means he requested it's removal, pherhaps he did not:confused:

You obviously want to have the last post on this matter (why, I do not know) so please get it over with as I am sick of you whining about free speech.
As other posters have pointed out to you several times it is a moderated board owned by someone if you don't like it go to another site who will accept such posts.
Retracted means he said he took back what he said. I see you edited your reply to admit the possibility that he didn't ask for the thread to be removed.

If you are sick of me and you think that standing up for free speech is whining, then you go elsewhere. I can understand that the mods will pull anything for the sake of peace and quiet from you and your ilk, but I am not convinced that they pull stuff for any reason beyond the fact that someone has squealed with a complaint ranging from flimsy to justified.
After the uprising of the 17th June The Secretary of the Writers Union
Had leaflets distributed in the Stalinallee Stating that the people
Had forfeited the confidence of the government And could win it back only
By redoubled efforts. Would it not be easier In that case for the government
    To dissolve the people
    And elect another?

    No I misspelt something.:rotfl:
  • Base? Wasn't there a huge old speech in Lear about baseness or was that K Henry V part 2. I am sure there was was <<thuds off to find it>>....couldn't find it. Too bloody boring.

However, I do lurrrrrrrve the word along with reprobate. It really sums me up.

Thank you PP, I had forgotten all of the texts that I have read.

I can remember telling one of the men at work that he was 'base' and not nice and he thought I was saying 'basic'.

    Marvellous.

I thought it was appropriate to say thank you to the mods for removing the HIHM thread of a few moments ago and acting promptly on the reporting of the thread.

While I disagreed with the removal of Dudleyboy's thread, I 100% agree with the removal of the racist thread posted by HIHM

    So, thanks to the mods.

You didn't miss much - it was deeply unpleasant and marked a new low in his trolling.

Still, i think that's the reaction he wanted so I'll shut up now.

    One rule for one!
I never saw the thread but if it was racist it needed to go.
Is this thread not arguing there should be no censorship? If so it is very hypocritical.
