Week 5 - this week was tough - was determined to come in around the £40 but ended up with a total of £53.02 but just found that i couldn't get any good offers on the things we need (but still managed to stock up on fab con/washing liquid that is still on offer so not a complete loss)

I AM DECLARING MY OCTOBER TOTAL OF £262.59
    Thus a saving of £37.41

CAN I PLEASE SET MY NOVEMBER CHALLENGE AS £275

    Thank you!

  • I'm declaring £240 for October, over by £40 - hopeless! I'm not even sure what happened. I'll be swapping to pay day to pay day in the hope of keeping track better.

Please can you put me down for £200 for November?

    Thanks - Helen

I spend roughly around £35 a week on two adults and one toddler. I also have a baby but get her milk on prescription (thank goodness as it's blinkin' expensive!). No pets or anything like that.
My H normally takes a packed lunch but I am on maternity leave at the moment so am at home. We eat plenty of chicken and turkey, sausages, bacon etc. I buy a lot of my meat from costco which is an expensive outlay initially but works out OK as it's good quality meat. Use a meal planner that works on a 6 week rotation so plenty of variety.
