I wish to declare at £325 for October.

Please put me down for £350 for November.

    Thanks.

This was our second month doing this and am very pleased as we managed to come in under budget although the figure is slightly out as we havent put down for meals out during a few days away we had earlier in the month
  • Well I made the mistake of going shopping with DH today who, now that it's coming into winter, has decided he wants to eat salads for the next week. Which are of course really expensive at this time of year and I'd put money they'll lie there. So that was £10 on salad stuff  and another £10 on pesto. All of which adds up to being almost £15 overspent at £173.05 Fingers crossed this is the spending for October done. But I won't declare yet just in case....

Hope you guys are all doing better!

Hi all. Been offline for nearly a week - fell off the mse wagon as well! I think I have a good excuse as ds finally arrived on Monday - some 10 days late. The meal plan has been shredded and convenience has overtaken! Hubby is doing all the cooking which is great - and he asks what is on the plan. Will start the meal plan again soon. The outlaws are arriving tomorrow for 10 days to will pick up again after that.

Well I came home from hols this afternoon and have not yet ventured out to any shops - though I did call at a farm shop on the way home and bought some apples and a huge bag of red onions, so that is £2.50 onto my sig.

I am doing quite well with the GC this months though having been away for a week helped:rotfl:
When I came home DS had just about emptied the kitchen cupboards though there is quite a lot left in the freezers. I will not be declaring until 30th as 31st is payday.

So tomorrow I have to get back into the swing so I think it may be ime to think about the meal plans......

Well we have spent £255 so far this month I am ashamed to say, and my target was £200. I have been so tired and busy at work and my son has been quite depressed so that's my excuse anyway... ;)

Hopefully I will only need bread and milk until the end of October.

Take care and Good Luck everyone! :A

    DH is dear/darling husband.
    OH is Other half
Ds is dear/darling son. Some people, like me, put the position of the child's number after, so first born son is Ds1 and 2nd born son is Ds2. Others put the ages of the child, eg Ds17.
DD is dear/darling daughter. Same applies to numbers after.
