Just totted up my receipts and two are missing-they just have to be here somehwer. I can remember reasonably accurately tho so my total will be very close to the truth. Definitely under budget at £42.25 out of my normal £75 I allow for the week.Even if I allow for maybe being a fiver out-it would only be £47.25 so another good week. I have one more week left for October and Ive spent £187.24 over 4 weeks and Ive got £162.76 to cover next week!!!!!!!!!
Ive just had my Asda delivery which was £60.60 s0 Ive got £102.76 to take away with me next week for groceries! Now as its a hol for me and dd any "meals" will be entertainment budget so I wont spend a lot. Im taking a box of quickfood with me-cereals-instant noodles-soups-spaghetti dried and tinned-pasta sauce-cheese-bread-butter so I think I will end up with about £100 underspent easily. This is going to be my best month ever I have to say so all of you who didnt make it-hang on in there- it works!
Just have to count the pennies in my "campervan"(moneybox)now as this is our fun spending. Well I am amazed-there is twice as much in there as I thought-£82 which wil be truly enjoyed!Annual Grocery budget 2018 is £1500 pa £125 calendar month £28.84 pw for 3 adults0 -
Declaring at £139.96 for October
£120.00 for November please
I have decided not to include eating out in the GC balance. It is such a rare occurrence that it is better from the ‘treats’; we are looking at about once every 2 months max!
That is provided I keep up with taking a pack-up for lunch. If I buy lunch instead of a pack-up I will include that, as it should have come out of the GC.
I am £20 below budget & £35 down on last month, but I still have a feeling of ‘could do better’ & I am still as well stocked up as when I started 2 months ago. So I am shaving a bit more off & hopefully this will focus me to get it down more.0 -
Am chuffed as have now completed the meal plan and shopping list for the next month. Should be about £110 in total, completely, with nothing else! I've told the OH that if it's not on the list then it's not getting bought
so he's now rooting through the cupboards to figure out if I've forgotten anything! Unfortunately had to spend a bit on Friday as the stepkids are here for the weekend and we promised them that they could do some baking from their new recipe books. It cost a bit extra but it meant that we had fab homemade burgers with mozzarella inside (YUM!) and the best chocolate cake ever (which considering most of it was made by a 6 and 10 year old is quite impressive!)

Morning everyone.
The only thing I can say is OMG (look at my sig).
On the plus side a got a kingsmill loaf free (she was gonna throw it out so i asked for it) and my chickens which are part of the reason i am over have started laying eggs so I won't have to buy them anymore at least.
I must try harder next month but I am glad a have still kept a record as it has made me more determined in future. Hope everyone has had a nice extra hour in bed.

Haven't been able to keep up with all posts and even adding receipts as this month has been SO busy.
All sorts of stuff been happening, meetings,w**k,choirs both restarted,DH roped me in on his quizz team and DS getting married next Saturday.:j
So been a bit busy.
Will declare at £180 please MrsM, guesstimate as freezer nearly empty and had loads of F&V donated.
Savings quite depleted tho' due to wedding(donations towards it as DS and soon to be DDin law have organised it all)
Will keep going tho' ,please will you put me down for £180 MrsM again and I will try to do a bettrer job of recording spends.
I do seem to have bought quite a few little X mas pressies, all stored away just waiting to be lost:rotfl:
We are all going to try for a real low spend Christmas this year and are turning it into a bit of a family competition to see who can spend the least!
Saving money at work which will be out at end of November,£240 plus bit of interest-we save £20 each month in a bank acc.this was instead of buying lottery tickets!we don't send each other cards but give the money we would have spent to a local charity, also have a secret santa present(£6 max).
Well done all, will keep lurking if not posting.

OMG what am I doing on the computer at this time of the morning?! The one day of the year when the clocks go back and I could have had a lie in my DH set the alarm wrong and I couldn't get back to sleep!
TheBees are officially over our budget by about £5. I had to pop into tescos for a few vegetables, milk and bread but came out having spent more than intended. My excuse is that I had a pounding headache due to blocked sinuses again and wasn't feeling great. _pale_ Still, that should be it now until Friday when our challenge ends.:j
Going to make a chicken casserole with dumplings in the slow cooker today as we're going to be out in the cold until late and it should be bubbling away nicely when we get in. Followed by apple crumble using fallen apples from a friends garden.
Good luck everyone. Going to get up now!Mortgage Free in 3 part 2 challenge - pay off £9000

Yikes - -look's like I only have £2.39 for food this week. The freezer is full of reduced organic chickens from Waitrose that were reduced to 2.5 from 8.
And we have had quite a few visitors this month!
