Hi all, today will be my 3rd of the month. I was meant to be going out to the pub with my friends but have convinced them all to come to mine instead. They're all bringing summat, drinks, snacks etc...Might actually make my target this month if i continue like this
    £387.39/£196.46
Pay my debt by End of Feb 2022
    49.28% paid!

£199.55/£500 savings by End of April 2022
    39.91% saved!

    Make £2022 in 2022 - £20

Day 4 and I have only managed 1 NSD so far (I knew October would be difficult)! Today won't be one either as I have already paid 4 months worth of council tax @ £528 and monthly internet bill @ £9.89 and may pop to the shops later to get cold and flu tablets. :( On a more positive note, I won't have to worry about paying council tax now until February 2009 which helps with Christmas etc. I'm hoping to have an NSD tomorrow and a few during the week if I wake up early and get a lift into uni with OH. x
  • No NSD's for me so far - although if all goes to plan, today and tomorrow will (hopefully) be the first of many for this month!! Fingers crossed nothing unexpected crops up!!

I used to spend a fortune getting my hair done, now I have it done at the local college saving an absolute fortune...or if you still want to have your luxury cut the college will give you a deep conditioning treatment for and blo dry for under a fiver!! Well worth it to keep your colour shiny and lovely and soft hair too!!

    Cheers honey! :T

There's a technical college in the next town over so I might have to give them a ring.

Glad OH's condition isn't too desperate Lilmissmup :D

  • No NSD today, but only budgetted food shopping so far! OH is talking about going out for dinner tonight, but I am trying to discourage it gently :)

;) 2/22 on day 4 for me then!

Hubby may have treated the household to a new bath mat but that's neither here nor there with regards to my budget.;) :D

I thought ours had lots of rubbery life left in it yet so I wasn't going to buy one...but he was all manly and decisive and went and picked one up himself, cos he's scared of [STRIKE]me[/STRIKE] falling over

I probably should count it cos it's "household" but I'm not going to cos I didn't want to buy one and this is all about my spends not his.

I didn't count it last month when my son came home with milk and bread apropos of nothing so I'm not counting it when hubby brings a bath mat home.

If I had to count all their spends as well as my own we'd be lucky to have one NSD all month! :o (All year!!! )

I still don't know what my son was after by being so spontaneously helpful ;) - but he's got a new girlfriend so p'raps he was just in a very good mood that day?!

Of course now he's shown me that he knows where the supermarket is ;):D I may have to ask him to pick stuff up more often - especially as he refused to take any money for it. Bonus! :j

I'm off to snuggle on't sofa with hubby now and watch a film.

    I hope you're having a good day,

    Love Jacks xxx :D
