Didn't manage a NSD yesterday as had to buy paracetamol and lucozade. Lucklily I get my prescriptions free else that would have blown the budget. Won't manage another NSD till MOnday now unfortunalety. Have to get shopping today and am taking DD to look at University on Saturday.
  • Looks like it'll be another spend day for me! This isn't proving to be as easy as I thought!

I badly need my hair cut/died, but since that would blow £100 of my budget, I'm gonna hold out a bit longer and settle for getting my fringe trimmed! So although I'll be spending, it'll only be £3! :T The we're renting a DVD tonight, since we've watched all of the "3 for 2" ones that my boyfriend's addicted to buying! So obviously I'll be halfing in for that!

 since I've got the month off to a bad start, I'll need to try and be extra good this weekend! Thankfully the OH is finally moving down from Aberdeen to Glasgow next week, so other than the DVD tonight, we'll be spending the weekend packing up his flat! So if nothing else, at least it should get me on track with the NSD's!! :j

Have a good Friday everyone, and good luck with keeping all that hard earned money to yourself!!

    Morning all.

Hmmm, I'm not sure what to do. I'm planning to have 2/3 next days as NSD, but not sure if I'm going shopping today or leaving it till tomorrow. Should really go tonight as not sure what's happening tomorrow yet. Might be busy all day. But I'd like to have a relaxing evening and I don't think food shopping really qualifies as that. :)

    [strike]Mornin'[/strike] Afternoon Lovelies!

 I don't know where the time is going today!

Anyway, I am having one of my days off where I stay in and do laundry and list on eBay all day (and we did a humongous shop at Lidl yesterday so we don't need anything!) so I can hopefully delcare today as my first NSD of the month right now! :)

I'm making a curry tonight and hubby is bringing home a bunch of dvds he borrowed from a guy at work so we won't be tempted to rent one.

Only 21 more NSD's to go...My second trophy is in the bag!!! :rotfl:

I hope you're all having a fab (and no spending! :naughty: ) day! :p

    Love Jacks xxx :D

Mine used to be £121 for cut and colour NOT including tip

But then I found a lovely lady who cuts it for £7 inc tip and I colour it myself.

I was so excited about all the money I saved that I started a thread about it: :o It contains the most ginormous MSE post I have ever written - and I'm known to bang on a a bit at the best of times so you can imagine it's a mahoosive post!

That's fab you get it so cheap Jacks, does it look ok?

I used to pay about £150 for a cut and colour, so to economise I tried colouring it myself, it was ok for a week or 2, but faded really quickly and started to go kinda ginger!! I get a dark colour in it, and since my hair's dark anyway - at the most I have it done 2/3 per year - I make do with the fringe trims and VO5 hot-oils in between! So it's one thing I'll not be cutting back on just yet, at least when I've nothing else (due to the not spending any money ever again) I'll still have nice hair!! ;) If only I wasn't so vain about it - i'd probably be loaded by now! But since I've cut way back on clothes and shoes (and hangbags and jewellery and make-up and........) I figure everyone deserves a wee treat every now and again!

I'm sure you'll have a ball in Blackpool Raphael! I hope the weather holds up for you though!!

    xx
