What a great yet simple idea, how come I've never thought of it before :D

I eat very little meat, guess I could change the sausage for toast tho? ;)

I'm going to starting on Sunday boiling my eggs :rotfl: what about my idea of having toast?

 well, at least I enjoyed my porridge, even if it didn't hit the parts other foods do :rotfl: :rotfl:

You could still have your porridge if you're one of the self torturing ones :)
I think egg n toast would be better than toast alone or porridge alone. Egg n porridge? speechless-smiley-040.gif well maybe not in the same bowl :)

I just think that the hard boiled egg is much maligned, mostly forgotten. A boiled egg can go with you anywhere! If you are hungry 10ish after your porridge why not crack open an egg at brewtime and have a late lunch?

If you go for the brekkie option, an egg n cheese is just as satisfying and caters for our veggie friends too.

So versatile, so much maligned. I think women n eggs got a lot in common biggrin.gif

  • Porridge, yum! My favourite breakfast ever (i eat it at any time of the day). I foun it does keep me going, i like my porridge quite thick so maybe that's part of the reason.

Thing is, I work a shift pattern, so meals times are never regular, I want a breakfast to prevent me snacking midday, it's not helping with my weight

I'm gong to give this ago, especially if I cook them on a Sunday

Egg & cheese, what do I do, just break the egg into a bowl and add cheese?

Egg n cheese I treat like egg n evrythin else. I just peel my egg, get the shell outv the way then take bite of each and mix em in my mouth. Tis not only a money saving, time saving thing to do but there's generally no washing up either!

V minimalist when it comes to washing up :)
