have you posted in the wrong place??
:rotfl: Fear not, you're not the first to be bamboozled by KY and I reckon you won't be the last, either. He's prone to the odd bizarre post or 2. Seems a basically friendly, harmless sort, though (unlike some on here, no names mentioned, of course)...

Crikey, you may be right  . I was thinking of Rudyard Kipling's novel but I suppose that was short for KimballIt would explain some of the bizarre behaviour, I suppose.*
* That's a JOKE, btw, I've been happily married to a fantastic lady for 26 years and fully accept she is far more than my equal!Call me Carmine....

Yes, I thought that. I vaguely remember from other posts that she is an older woman who has little patience with people who use central heating. But that could be someone else - I try to stop myself having mental pictures of people on here - have got it wrong big time talking to people on the phone and then meeting them.:p0 -

From reading the posts id imagine Kim to be around the 20 mark, Kim is not the kind of name that is associated with older ladies, nore would older ladies know about "honkytonks" :rotfl: I may be totally wrong, Im sure we will all find out in the not too distant future. :eek:0 -

GOD im getting forgetful in my old age !!
we have a old fridge that i use to keep veg in in the summer, we dont use it much now,so its going and the 2...well new freezers...i use them because we are 16 miles from any main town and i tend to get things when i can !!
i suppose ill have to pack that in !
shall post and let you know how it all goes ....cheaper i hope0 -
Bojangles, before you get rid of the freezers, try a week with them off and see if it makes a noticeable difference. You may find that if they are stocked, then the running cost outweighs the cost of driving to and from the main town, especially if you can stock them with bargains and the bread and milk basics.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0

Absolutely. If you're a large family and/or you only shop every three or four weeks, it's probably cost effective to have all that storage.
If, however, there's only 2/3 or 4 of you and/or you shop once a week, one fridge and one freezer should be enough. My sister used to have a huge, expensive-to-run chest freezer but reckoned it worth it to store allotment produce which made sense because they were pretty much self sufficient in veg and soft fruit.0 -

Kim, no matter what sex, is definitely an 'oldie' as this fact has been alluded to in his/her posts. An older lady wouldn't know about HonkyTonks? The Rolling Stones released Honky Tonk Women in the 60s! :eek:Call me Carmine....
